They met on a blind date and sailed through to a happily ever after. How they met
Annie and Nayan’s story began 6 years ago when they were acquainted over a blind date. Sharing a love of the ocean over beach and yacht dates, their love blossomed, and soon they knew they had found their perfect partner in each other.
Wedding Planning
The couple decided on Goa as their dream wedding destination, where their festivities were planned by Snow Bubble Events. The couple entrusted the team of Wedding Art to capture every moment of their Big Fat Indian Wedding in vivid shots.
A makeup artist by profession, the bride did her own wedding makeup, while her team of Richfeel Makeovers took on Hair and Makeup for her guests. The wedding was planned with distinct themes for each function, and acclaimed artists such as Emcee Vikalp Mehta and Swaroop Khan were flown in to enchant the guests with their performances.
Wedding Functions
Haldi
The festivities began with a vibrant, sunny Haldi function with colorful Rajasthani influences reflecting in the food, decor and more, to celebrate the couple’s Rajasthani heritage. The bright decor painted a vivid picture against the tropical greenery of the outdoor venue. The musical styling of artist Swaroop Khan took the function to another level. The couple wore coordinated outfits in orange for the occasion.
Sangeet
The glam and glitz of the Sangeet night had an intrinsic Lebanese influence complete with red carpet grandeur. Living in the UAE, the bride wanted a flavor of the decadence and celebration she often saw in Lebanese weddings, which was brought to life with glittering decor, a stunning stage setup, a towering cake and more. The couple’s descent from the heavens left everyone in awe as they arrived for their ring ceremony. The dashing Vikalp Mehta anchored the evening full of performances and revelries.
Nautical
The next day began with a laidback pool party with a nautical theme to honor the couple’s shared love of all things oceanic! The decor of white and blue set a breezy atmosphere, and the couple dressed in nautical hues of white, blue and red as well. The function saw fun games, activities, performing artists and more.
Wedding
The beachfront wedding was set in romantic, delicate hues of white and pink with an abundance of flowers. The gorgeous floral mandap looked idyllic against the azure blue sea beyond. The bride opted for a bright fuchsia lehenga for the occasion, while the groom looked serene in soft ivory and blush hues to complement the bride and the decor theme.
