A beautiful venue, regal decor and stunning outfits all contributed to the opulence of this Big Fat Indian Wedding.
Tariq and Aytal began their happily ever after in a dreamy environment, along with their family and friends, at an extravagant array of celebratory occasions. The resplendent events were captured by WeddingSutra Favorite, Plush Affairs, who translated every special moment into a memory to be looked upon and cherished forever.
How They Met
Being an arranged marriage, the couple were introduced to each other by their respective families. They recall, “We actually hit it off from the get go. We spoke for a while during our first meeting and realized we had a lot in common. The best part was that even though it was the first time we met each other, there was no awkwardness at all. It was as if we already had some kind of understanding between us.”
The bride says, “A week after our first meeting, he proposed through his family and everything just happened from there. We had a courtship of about five months, giving us enough time to get closer and get to know each other better.”
The haldi ceremony marked the beginning of the wedding festivities. It was hosted at Radisson Blu MBD Hotel in Noida. Reflecting the vibrant vibe of the ceremony, the bride donned a yellow gharara with pink embroidery, coupled with beautiful floral-themed jewellery. She looked every inch the blushing bride as she made her entrance with flowers covering her head.
The couple hosted a brunch prior to the wedding, treating their guests to a delectable array of scrumptious dishes. It was the perfect setting for their families and friends to unwind and catch up in a relaxing environment before the formal wedding celebrations began. For the occasion, Aytal wore a mauve saree by Sulakshana Monga while Tariq teamed his blue bandhgala with cream bottoms.
The wedding exuded class and elegance. The groom arrived in a vintage car to the ceremony. Aytal looked nothing less than royal in a red and gold lehenga and elaborate gold jewellery. Speaking about her choice of outfit, she says, “I always wanted to be a Manish Malhotra bride, so I was thrilled to wear this outfit. I wore a red lehenga complete with a trail and heavy antique gold embroidery on velvet and floral appliqués.”
The loved-up occasion was made all the more special by the wishes and affections of their near-and-dear ones, each touching moment and emotion captured by WeddingSutra Favorite – Plush Affairs. The team shot stunning pictures of the occasion, from stolen intimate moments between the couple to impactful shots against the beautiful backdrops at the venue. Plush Affairs effectively captured the true essence of the couple’s relationship as well as the sentiments of the guests.
The reception was one grand party filled with dancing and entertainment. The couple had a blast busting out their moves on the dancefloor. The bride looked magnificent in a golden lehenga embellished with crystals and feathers by Falguni and Shane Peacock. Matching up to his bride’s glamor, Tariq wore a tuxedo from Giorgio Armani. The night ended with fireworks and a toast to marital bliss and the joyful beginning of their lives together.
