This bride’s rooftop haldi ceremony was a magnificent affair with its scenic views of the city and colorful decor.

Brought together by a right swipe, Ayushi and Shubham’s arranged marriage has a unique twist of love in it. Even though they were set up by parents, this duo took matters into their own hands and decided to court each other for a couple of months before taking the plunge. Hosted at the plush ITC Maurya, their nuptials were a feast for the eyes. Captured by WeddingSutra Favorite – CineLove Productions, each shot captured the plethora of emotions everyone felt at each function.

How They Met
Ayushi shares, “We met through shaadi.com where my mother had right-swiped Shubham’s profile. Our first meeting was scheduled a week later, and we got an extremely positive review from the astrologers who claimed that our pairing was perfect. At the first meeting, we were left alone by our parents to get to know each other. We hit it off instantly and spoke for almost an hour about our likes and dislikes. But, surprisingly, at the end of the conversation, Shubham confessed that he wasn’t ready for marriage yet since he was just 25 years old. On my way back home, I still remember wondering why he wanted to meet me in the first place?

But, as fate would have it, I got a Snapchat request from him that day itself, and from then on, we began discovering each other. We met extensively for the next two months and finally cemented our relationship.”

Wedding Venue
“Having been born and raised in Delhi, we both were keen on a destination wedding. But then again, we found the ideal ‘destination’ in ITC Maurya. The lavish property was perfect for hosting our nuptials, and its sheer variety of venues gave us plenty of opportunities to expand our creativity by experimenting with the decor. I don’t think any other place would’ve served us any better.” shares Ayushi.

Weddings Functions

Mehndi
A day function, the Mehndi was full of cheer and sunshine as Ayushi and her girl squad gathered to get henna patterned on their hands. The decor color palette had a distinctly feminine theme with yellow, fuchsia and turquoise hues striking a captivating contrast with the green lawns.

Keeping the blazing sun in mind, Ayushi chose to slip on her sunglasses and opted for a classic green and gold lehenga. For accessories, she chose a pearl and emerald necklace that matched her outfit.

Following a ‘navy blue and silver’ theme, the couple’s sangeet amped up the glamour stakes with its flawless decor. With smashing hits playing in the background, the guests had plenty of fun showing off their moves on the dancefloor. However, the highlight of the evening was Stebin Ben, a star performer who enthralled everyone with his tunes. Dressed in a stunning off-white gown with silver embroidery, Ayushi’s attire exuded dreamy vibes.
