Faeze and Terence, Emirate Danial, Iran
A white wedding held at a beautiful venue with elaborate decor had guests mesmerized.
Faeze and Terence’s dreamy white wedding took place at a majestic property that exuded grandeur. The couple’s deep love for one another was palpable at the magical venue, which turned out to be the ideal backdrop for their loving union. Bride Faeze shares the highlights.
How They Met
“Terence is Indian and I’m Persian. He lived in Dubai but had work in Iran and I would visit Iran on and off. I was planning to immigrate to Canada when I first met him. I was about to give my IELTS exam and told him I wanted to speak to someone in English and would appreciate his help with the language. He helped me a lot and I got the marks I wanted because he was such a good teacher.
Soon, I realized there was an attraction. I was finishing my paperwork for immigration but realized that it would be hard for me to leave him. He asked me to go to India with him to meet his parents as he had already met mine. I went to India and I loved his parents! Everything went really well and we decided to get married. Instead of Canada, I moved to Dubai!”
“Wedding planning was not easy. We had our fair share of struggles because we come from different cultures, follow different religions, plus there was the distance. But we made it work; love always works.”
Speaking about the theme of the wedding, she adds, “For our colors, we chose a maroon and navy blue theme as we thought it went well with our winter wedding.”
“We chose Emarat Danial in Garmadarreh, Tehran, for our venue. It has the best wedding hall in Iran and we could book everything through them – the food, decoration, cake, car decoration, DJ, etc. It was all organized by the owner, Tashrifat Danial. We just met them and told them what we wanted and they organized everything.”
“We all arrived at the venue in the morning – the makeup and hairstyle team, photography team, bridesmaids and groomsmen and our families were all there. I got ready in one room while Terence got ready in another.
I entered the wedding venue with my parents holding my hands. All the guests turned to look, some with smiles and some with tears of joy. I’ll never ever forget that moment.”
“As Terence and I entered, fireworks went off. The venue looked stunning with amazing decor. The vibe was fantastic and our guests were overjoyed. Walking in was an amazing, memorable moment as we could see the love on everyone’s faces.
Our first dance was perfect. Our head photographer (Shahrzad) told us to allow our love for each other and emotions to show. Terry then asked me, ‘Is it fine in Iran if I sing for you?’, as he had never been to a wedding in Iran. I said, ‘Yes, of course.” He then took the mic and sang our favorite song, ‘All Of Me’ by John Legend, while we danced. In that moment, I felt like the luckiest girl on earth.”
Advice For Couples
The bride shares, “Choose wisely, you get married only once and should not regret anything. Don’t compromise on the things you really want at your wedding. The photography and videography team is really important – make sure you like their work. Don’t keep anything for the wedding day; do it before as on the day you should just enjoy yourself. Don’t stress if something doesn’t go as planned – sometimes it’s unavoidable!.
Finally, I suggest all brides choose their outfits, makeup and accessories that look timeless! You will end up looking at your wedding pictures 20 years later and still love it! Make choices that will always remain a trend!”
