Harsha and Shubnit, Daman
This bride amped up the style stakes with a bridal trousseau that merged contemporary and traditional styles perfectly.
Introduced by their mutual friend, the chemistry between photographer Harsha Tolani and Shubnit Panjwani was instant. After three years of dating, the duo finally decided to tie the knot in a vibrant celebration that complemented their vivacious personalities. Photographed by WeddingSutra Favorite – CoolBluez Photography who used their skills to capture every emotion, this wedding with its playful as well as emotional moments was truly a joyous celebration.
How They Met
Harsha shares, “We first crossed paths through a mutual friend, and from then on there was just no looking back! We dated for three years and decided to tie the knot.”
Equipped with an airtight plan of how they wanted their wedding to be celebrated, the duo then went ahead to rope in CoolBluez Photography who impressed them with their skills. The couple shares, “For us, the foremost point beyond the skills was the rapport we could build with our photographers. Right from the first meeting itself, team CoolBluez Photography made us feel at complete ease as they gave us a series of suggestions to make our shoot better. We would highly recommend CoolBluez Photography as we were absolutely stunned by their innovation!”
Kicking off the celebrations gleefully, the celebrations began with a Rajasthani-themed Mehndi. The bride shares, “The decor was vibrant and all the guests looked graceful in their green outfits. Hosted on a beautiful sky deck, I chose to wear a green lehenga with red floral jewelry while Shubnit donned a green Lucknowi kurta.”
“Our bohemian-themed pool party was a huge hit with its funky decor and games. As both sets of families wore color-coded clothes, we had incredible amounts of fun as we took part in the Game-a-thon where everyone indulged in competitive banter!” recollects Harsha.
Engagement and Sangeet
Highlighted with Moroccan-inspired decor complete with velvets, crystals, and sheeshas, the Arabic-themed Engagement and Sangeet evening was splendorous. To give the glamorous event an extra dose of glitz, Harsha performed flawlessly onstage which left Shubnit in awe, after which, the duo took to the stage by storm together as they performed and matched steps under the magical LED lights.
Bringing her vision to life, Harsha made a stunning entry on her big day seated atop a chariot adorned with pastel blooms. Furthermore, even the couple’s mandap was chariot shaped and bedecked with gold elements and suspended florals. Brimming with emotional as well as playful moments, the couple looked radiant as they tied the knot surrounded by their family and friends.
Following an ‘English Wedding’ theme, the reception was an elegant affair where the bride grabbed all eyes as she walked in flanked by her father and bridesmaids. Also, they stayed true to the theme where they invited a priest who blessed them as they took their vows.
