How They Met
Himanshi shares, “Deepak and I met in 2014 at our cousin’s wedding. During the party I noticed him gazing at me and once our eyes met, there was no holding back! We flirted some, and then danced together. The next day we connected on Facebook where we chatted endlessly and exchanged numbers. Hailing from two different states, we were aware that a long-distance relationship was going to be challenging. But in a short span of time, we realized that we were genuinely fond of each other, and surprisingly enough we ended up courting each other over long distance for three years! As soon as we graduated, Deepak came to Delhi for an internship and our bond grew stronger as we started seeing more of each other. However, distance intervened again as he moved to Chandigarh for work. I moved there with him a year later where we stayed together until the pandemic hit and we had to move back to our respective homes. After all these years of coordinating and keeping the embers of our love alive, we finally decided to take the plunge!”

Fortunately, we found Lenseyezia Productions who managed to take stunning pictures with so much patience. Working with them was a breeze and their behavior was extremely professional. Weddings Functions
Mehndi
Hosted under a dazzling blue sky peppered with cotton candy clouds, the bride’s Mehndi was a breezy, marigold adorned event where she proudly flaunted her henna patterned palms. While Himanshi posed against the picturesque backdrop, Deepak joined her and the couple had a gala time ambling along the lush lawns of the iconic hotel in Mussoorie.

Engagement
An evening event that was high on glamor, the Engagement was romantic and included some heartfelt moments where both the families united to celebrate the impending nuptials. Seated against a floral backdrop, the couple looked picture perfect as they exchanged rings. However, the highlight of the event was when Deepak dropped on one knee to express his love for Himanshi.

Haldi
Taking full advantage of the soft hill station sunshine and the panoramic views offered by their wedding venue, the couple’s Haldi ceremony looked straight out of a movie. Wearing yellow outfits that strikingly contrasted the cerulean blue sky, Himanshi and Deepak were all smiles as they mingled with their loved ones. While the bride followed the fun rituals of jangling her kaleerein over the single bridesmaids, the groom was playfully slathered in a mixture of turmeric and yogurt by his best pals!

Wedding
Decorated with a circular mandap lined with blooms, the couple’s Wedding was minimalistic yet festive with its vivid hues. Eschewing the traditional red, Himanshi decided to don a beautiful mint blue lehenga that made her stand out against the velvety dark sky. To complement his bride, Deepak chose to go for a classic off-white sherwani which he paired with a bright red turban.

Advice For Couples
Himanshi shares, “Book only those wedding planners whom you know personally and make sure they are on the same page as you by conducting multiple meetings. Don’t overburden yourself with back-to-back events and make sure you get your share of sleep to avoid puffy eyes. Lastly, photographs taken in natural light come out the best, so try to schedule your events during the daytime.”
