Flaunting unconventional decor elements and lovable moments, Ishita Advani, a lawyer, and Bollywood actress Kiara Advani’s cousin wed fellow lawyer Karma Vivan, son of dancer Aditi Mangaldas. Planned and designed by Weddingsutra Favorite – VLW Global, this union was easy on the eyes with its stunning aesthetics and heartwarming moments.
The Proposal
In the winter of 2019, Karma popped the question to Ishita on the deck of a yacht that was decorated with scarlet blooms. Overlooking glimmering waves, the proposal was a dreamy one as he went down on one knee to ask Ishita to be his wife!
Wedding Planning
Organizing a memorable destination wedding that’s imprinted on everyone’s minds for years to come is not a cakewalk. However, with VLW Global on their team spearheading the planning process, Ishita and Karma’s wedding had everyone awestruck! Be it a glamorous cocktail night, a fun filled pool party, or the dreamy wedding, each event was curated keeping the couple’s aesthetics in mind. Carefully fusing traditional Indian elements with contemporary ones, VLW Global crafted a union that resembled a fairytale.
Weddings Functions
Pool Party
Surrounded by acres of lush greenery and punctuated by a dramatic sunset, the Pool Party urged everyone to put on their dancing shoes. As the bride along with her best friends and sister Kiara Advani, took to the dance floor, everyone cheered on and waved smoke bombs in the air. Red flowers and cut-out canopies ensured that everyone was swept away by the magic of the moment. Furthermore, a customized cart filled with vibrant accessories ensured the guests looked party-ready as they proceeded towards the event.
Cocktail
Swathed in hues of silver and white with lanterns suspended over the dancefloor, the Cocktail event exuded glamorous yet serene vibes, With everyone geared up to party till the wee hours of the night, the pillar candles, acrylic holders, and baby’s breath enchanted the senses.
Chooda
Sunlit and traditional, the Chooda ceremony’s highlight was a huge banyan tree decorated with suspended chrysanthemum garlands. As Ishita took a seat on the foliage-laden boho swing, she was joined by Karma and her gal pals who gathered around her. Later on, the bride and her squad had a laugh as the bride cheerily clinked her Kaleeras over their heads!
Wedding
Hosted at the hotel’s courtyard under the shelter of trees decorated with white chrysanthemum garlands, the Wedding was lit up by the glow of thousands of candles that were placed around the floor. Before the bride made her grand entry under the delicately crafted phoolon ki chaadar, her squad ensured she looked her best! Earthy and traditional while reflecting the couple’s love for minimalism, the decor was an unconventional one.
Sangeet
After the Wedding, the newlyweds along with their loved ones geared up for a royal indoor Sangeet hosted within a vast ballroom that was bathed in hues of red and gold as it exuded traditional and glamorous vibes. From scarlet blooms, and suspended gold sequins to gold vases, this magnificent celebration was indeed an epic one as everyone took the stage by storm!
