Jeny and Jason, Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre

With twinkling lights accompanying bright blooms, this duo’s reception in the ‘City of Gold’ was a glitzy affair.

Jeny and Jason began their journey of a lifetime in style, surrounded by their loved ones at the Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre. Born and brought up in Dubai, the couple chose to have their wedding ceremony at the same church they grew up visiting, an opportunity that not many Indian Christians get. Making most of this beautiful venue, they both chose to go for a series of simple and elegant ceremonies that reflected their personalities.

Wedding Venue
Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre was the perfect choice for the young couple as it offered the most convenient location for most of their wedding guests. With a guest list of over 1000 people flying in from different parts of the world, the combination of the three Great Ballrooms and the two Falcon Ballrooms made the property ideal for their grand celebrations. The Great Ballroom, especially, had stolen Jeny’s heart, for its dreamy location, ambience, and architecture. Its Grand Bridal Suite was another strong plus point.

Their ceremonial wedding was held at St. Thomas Orthodox Cathedral, Dubai (Oud Metha). The lucky couple had their nuptials blessed and celebrated by the bishop.

Wedding Planning
Following the theme of ‘white and green’ the bride chose a mix of white roses paired with green buds and flowers for both the church ceremony and the reception. With guests flying in from various regions of the world, the couple chose to keep a varied spread to suit all tastes. Indian, Arabic, Asian and Italian were some of the cuisines offered, to name a few. Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre’s open kitchen was also a hit with its live counters preparing pasta as per the guest’s choices. A vast dessert section also ensured that everyone’s sweet tooth was satiated.

One of the most unique elements of the evening, the wedding cake, was a five-tiered, elegant creation flavored with chocolate and salted caramel. Planned by Al Thahbya Events each ceremony went ahead seamlessly as Jeny and Jason glowed under the spotlight.

Additionally, they also had a logo designed for the wedding which was used almost everywhere. The invites were personally designed by the bride and groom. The wedding giveaways which were custom ordered from Ukraine, included a special ‘Thank You’ note. A photo booth made sure that the guests were able to capture their precious memories too.

Her dress, however, was the highlight of the occasion with its sheer sleeves and intricate thread work. The designs on the dress symbolized elements of nature and greenery, which had originally inspired Jeny to choose the theme of her wedding. Jason, on the other hand, kept it simple in a classic tuxedo.
