Mumbai-based Kavya and Mehul’s royal wedding planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – Zest Events was a larger-than-life amalgamation of lush vistas, opulent decor and soulful family moments that tied together to celebrate an eternity of happiness!

How they met
Brought together by cupid, with a tad bit of help from their families, Kavya and Mehul first met in an arranged marriage setting. Kavya, who did not believe in the concept of an arranged marriage and had always wanted a fairytale romance was pleasantly surprised by the instant connection she felt with Mehul when they met for dinner at her aunt’s place. Their free-flowing conversation about life and their dreams soon turned into frequent dinner dates, and before long they knew they were deeply in love with each other.
Wedding Planning
Kavya and Mehul wanted to give their guests a thrill of a lifetime with festivities that were a perfect reflection of their vivacious personalities. The team of Zest events used their superior aesthetic sensibilities to make their vision of a vibrant, unconventional wedding a reality. From tailoring every occasion with distinct themes and decor to the best of entertainment including a celebrity Sangeet performance by Mehul’s favorite artist Dev Negi, they ensured every moment of the celebrations would be unforgettable for the couple and their guests!
Wedding Functions
Haldi
The Haldi function was a close-knit intimate affair that the couple celebrated with a fun-filled ‘Phoolon Ki Holi’. A walkway of whimsical flora in vibrant hues led to the event which was orchestrated in hues of yellow with fun elements like a mocktail bar, poppy photo-ops, centerpieces adorned with fruits and more. A larger than life photo-op was adorned with fun fruits that acted as centerpieces, while the couple seating with their personalized name cutouts added that extra bit of quirk.
Sangeet
Marking the celebrations with a high dose of glitz & glamor, the Sangeet function combined lush green foliage and enormous lights enabling the guests to feel like they had just stepped into a whimsical wonderland. Choreographer Kartik Mohan brought Kavya’s Disney princess dream to life with a starry signature performance for the bride, while the groom’s performance channeled the energy of Hrithik Roshan and Michael Jackson. Multiple photo-ops placed on either side of the green gallery lawn gave spectators a vivid experience.
Wedding
Hosted at the gallery lawns of the Della Resorts, every moment of the Wedding festivities was blessed with the ethereal magic of fragrant rajanigandhas. Kavya’s entry dazzled with endless sparkle as she walked down the aisle flanked with cold pyros while Mehul arrived in style seated in a vintage car while grooving to the thumping beats of Nashik dhols. This Wedding was indeed brimming with Insta-worthy moments right from the jaw-dropping Varmala where the couple was showered in flower petals amidst a splendorous burst of sparkle, to the Vedic Pheras and last but not least, a phenomenal post-wedding firework display which was a fitting end to the gorgeous celebrations!
