The duo hosted various festivities across a range of iconic hotels in Doha which highlighted intimate grandeur with the use of stunning decor, tender customs and wholesome moments of family bonds. Wedding Functions
Mehndi and Sangeet
A vibrant musical night of festivities full of traditional flavors kicked off the Mehndi and Sangeet. Imbued with rich jewel tones of emerald, amethyst and gold, the evening was set with bold color-blocked decor bathed in the magic of sparkling fairy lights. The couple wore coordinated ensembles of emerald green as they hit the dance floor with their loved ones.
Haldi
The picturesque Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara welcomed the guests to the Haldi ceremony of Khadija and Zain. The indoor function was given a lively, breezy feel with billowing white drapes and tones of marigolds. A beautiful curtain of marigolds duly complemented the fuchsia toned brocade setting for the ceremony which painted a pretty picture on the stage. Dressed in a richly embroidered yellow sharara set with floral jewelry, the bride entered with her family under a phoolon ki chadar, while the mustard-clad groom made a surprise entry cycling in with his entourage.
Nikaah (Wedding)
Set with a serene decor of ivory drapes and flowers intersected with splashes of lush green foliage, the Nikaah ceremony at Ismaili Centre Doha reflected the tranquility and auspicious tone of the occasion. Donning a mesmerizing white embroidered saree accessorized with dainty diamond jewelry, the bride exuded radiance as she took her forever vows with the love of her life. The ceremony was followed by a number of couple traditions and rituals as the duo was surrounded by the love and excitement of their friends and family.
Walima (Reception)
Hosted at the iconic Marsa Malaz Kempinski, the Walima ceremony or Reception, exuded unmatched grandeur. The regal decor of red and gold adorned the grand ballroom including chandeliers, a canopy of gold leaves over the dance floor, classic dinner tables and more. Huge backdrops of red roses contrasted with the mesmerizing white walls and structures of Qatari architecture to set a riveting ambience. The couple cut a beautiful white and red multi-tier cake following it with joyous revelry as they celebrated with their loved ones ending the festivities on a memorable note.
