Exuding elation at every turn, Kritee Khanna, a London-based finance professional, and Abhijit Agarwal, a banker’s wedding in New Delhi were filled with love as both their families united to celebrate their love. How They Met
Kritee shares, “Abhi and I met on a matrimonial website in 2020 when I traveled back to India on my Christmas break. He was based in Mumbai at the time, and when we started chatting, he flew down to Delhi to meet me. However, due to the pandemic, a travel ban was imposed which delayed my plans to return to the UK by a few weeks. As a result, Abhi and I got the opportunity to spend more time together, and within a month, we just knew that we wanted this bond for life. So when he proposed to me, everything felt just right!”
Wedding Planning
Planning a wedding from a remote location is no small feat. But with the right team to back them up Kritee and Abhijit were able to make their wedding vision a reality. “We coordinated everything from London. In fact, both Abhi and my tasks were completely different. While he looked into the macro aspects of the wedding, I was more enthusiastic about choosing each element of the decor and the font of the invites. At first, I thought that we could make it all happen with the support of our families. However, with time I realized that I wanted my family to enjoy my wedding thoroughly and so I got Nazara on board. I must admit that it was one of the best investments we made! A lot of big and small elements need to be taken care of up till the grand finale and I’m glad that my family could just enjoy and dance their heart out instead of dealing with a gazillion things in the background. Nazara is a part of our family and handing the reins over to them was a smooth process. The team is genuinely enthusiastic about their work, and very personable and collaborative. We planned the wedding from miles away and team Nazara was always available to answer our questions despite the different time zones. Their level of involvement and care really comes through and that’s what made us trust them. As a bride, I was quite obsessive and involved in every single detail, but the Nazara team patiently handled everything gallantly with a smile.”

The Sangeet
Elegant yet glamorous, the Sangeet night witnessed everyone taking the stage by storm regardless of their age! The bride shares, “There were so many memorable performances that day, but the most impressive of them was my grandparents’ performance. They danced to a classic 50’s song that left everyone enchanted. It was an adorable moment.”
The Haldi
Peppered with marigolds, the Haldi decor exuded cheery vibes with its bright yellow hues interspersed with dashes of gold. The bride shares, “The Haldi was full of playful shenanigans. While everyone followed the customs, there was also a lot of fun and frolic as the guests smeared each other with Haldi too. In the end, it wasn’t just the decor that was yellow but each one of us too!”
The Wedding
Kritee shares, “The wedding was so full of energy as the exuberant Baraat entered the venue. Minimalistic floral garlands, latticework arches and candelabras adorned with baby’s breath were placed strategically across the venue to give the evening a romantic feel. I held my brother’s hand, with my parents by my side, as I walked down the aisle to Abhi. There was an unfathomable mix of emotions around us along with an energy we had never experienced before which made that evening even more special.”
