Manpreet and Harpreet’s wedding ceremony was filled to the brim with tender moments that expressed the love shared between the duo. Capturing each of these moments in stunning frames was WeddingSutra Favorite – CoolBluez Photography who with each shot seized an abundance of emotions.
How They Met
Manpreet shares, “Harpreet and I clicked instantly from the first time we met. Our first encounter was via a mutual friend after which a romantic coffee date ensued. After that first meeting, there was just no looking back for us. And, today I can happily say that I’ve found my soulmate.”
Wedding Planning
Relying on a team of expert vendors to make their dream come true, Manpreet and Harpreet put their dream wedding plans into motion. On the photography front, they chose CoolBluez Photography who impressed them with their unbridled creativity. Manpreet shares, “CoolBluez Photography is an extremely talented team of photographers who’re overflowing with tremendously creative ideas. They were punctual throughout the nuptials, made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and ensured every family member was given equal attention. Given a chance, we would be happy to work with them again.” Adding to the team were the Oodles Hotel’s in-house decor team along with makeup artists Leena Bhushan, Pooja Khurana, and KritiDS.
Weddings Functions
Cocktail
Starting things off on a glamorous note, the duo’s cocktail party witnessed them dressing up in their finest western outfits. Glowing in a champagne-hued sequin gown, Manpreet was a complete stunner while Harpreet looked dapper in a black tuxedo.
Haldi
A playful yet traditional affair, the Haldi ceremony was swathed in hues of bright yellow and punchy aqua blue. However, adding an extra pop of color were multicolored pinwheels that adorned a lush foliage-covered archway. Additionally, traditional wall hangings combined with lime green and yellow drapes set the mood right as everyone showcased their bhangra moves.
Mehndi
Vibrant and simple, the mehndi ceremony was punctuated with joyful moments as the bride got henna patterned on her hands and legs. Dressed in a traditional bright red salwar kameez which she paired with maharani pink floral jewelry, Manpreet looked radiant as she sat down to get mehndi on her hands while her loved ones celebrated with her.
Wedding
A sunlit wedding ceremony replete with plenty of romance, Manpreet, and Harpreet’s wedding was a feast for the eyes. On the decor front, they chose to go simple with crystal chandeliers and white lanterns that highlighted the picturesque surroundings. The bride shares, “For the big day we chose a classic floral theme that echoed with the natural beauty of the venue.
Also, all boys and girls were classified with color-coded outfits that made for some stunning pictures when they came together.
