Megha and Ayush, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Leading singers such as Baadshah and Ankit Tiwari serenaded guests with their hit tracks at Megha and Ayush's memorable wedding in an iconic property in UAE.
The stunning Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi hosted Megha and Ayush’s wedding celebrations that were inspired by the opulence, beauty and luxury of the majestic property. Their priceless moments were captured by WeddingSutra Favorite – CineLove Productions. The bride shares with us the pictures and highlights of her big day.
How We Met
“It was only after Ayush and my parents had met each other that the two of us went out for dinner. Our conversation during the date convinced us that we were perfect for each other; and with that the sound of the weddings bells became clear to all.”
Wedding Venue
“Our wedding was hosted at the Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi. It is such a stunning property that words fall short when describing its beauty! The property truly exemplifies lavishness, exclusivity, and luxury. The staff’s exceptional hospitality was complemented by the scenic charm that the Arabian Sea-facing property exudes. Due to the artistically done interiors and spellbinding architecture that this hotel offers, we also did our pre-wedding photoshoot here. We did consider a few other destinations as options. However, we were clear that we wanted our wedding to be worth remembering and a celebration at the Emirates Palace is something that nobody would ever forget!”
Wedding Planning
“Our wedding was planned by The Wedding Fever, and our invitations were designed by Izhaar by Core Designs. CineLove Productions were in charge of photographing our wedding in wonderful frames. The team truly lived up to our expectations and did a marvelous job with our pictures.”
Wedding Functions
Welcome Dinner
“Since we were hosting our wedding in Abu Dhabi, we wanted to give our guests a chance to experience the culture of the land. Thus, we decided to kick off our celebrations with an ‘Arabian Night’ themed welcome dinner. To keep them entertained, we invited Shadab Fareedi, who sang some soulful songs and added to the cheer. Both, Ayush and I wore red for the event. While I opted for a gorgeous Monisha Jaisingh gown which was paired with pieces of jewellery from Hazoorilal Jewellers, Ayush went with a suit by Sunil Mehra.”
Mehndi
“A burst of colors is what we wanted for our mehndi, and we achieved this with the help of lots of flowers and drapes. Behind the bridal seating, we had a larger-than-life wheel of flowers, and the setup was designed to exude a very lively vibe. Once again Ayush and I coordinated colors and went with green and golden ensembles. I wore a lehenga by Ekaya, and he chose a Jodhpuri ensemble with flowery patterns from Sunil Mehra. My floral jewellery for this function was from Floral Art by Srishti.”
Sagan and Cocktail
“With this function, it was time to hit rewind since the theme for this event was inspired by all things retro. For this function, Ayush and I wore white outfits from Ecru. My ensemble was contrasted with a pretty pink and orange border and a dupatta of the same color. Hazoorilal Jewellers is where I got my jewellery for this event as well. We had lots of great artists perform for us this evening. Rooh Band, Baadshah and DJ Shadow filled the function with great tunes, and our guests loved every minute of it.”
Wedding
“There is no other flower that is more romantic than a rose, so our wedding setup made use of abundant roses. I wore a beautiful Ecru lehenga. Each panel of the skirt featured a mix of florals and figurines, and the border recreated the scene of a bride being taken away in a palanquin. This was such a unique design. Ayush wore a muted pink outfit and paired it with ornaments from Hazoorilal Jewellers.”
Reception
“We wanted to shake things up a little for the reception, and we decided to do that with an Indo-Western themed function. I wore a golden gown by Ecru along with diamond jewellery from Hazoorilal Jewellers, and Ayush was dapper in a Sunil Mehra tuxedo. Before we wrapped our celebrations, we surprised our guests with yet another amazing performance by Ankit Tiwari.”
