Wedding Planning
Making this union truly exceptional was how the wedding conveyed Misha and Alex’s love story, making the guests feel truly connected to the couple with deeply immersive experiences. Nishi Bajaj from Bon Evento shares, “We don’t just plan weddings; we craft narratives that celebrate the essence of two cultures coming together, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
For Misha & Alex, we went beyond the ordinary, creating a wedding that wasn’t just about grandeur but about meaning, emotion, and the perfect balance between cultural authenticity and modern elegance. Personalization was at the heart of this wedding—right from the room hamper bag and its contents, which focused on an Indian touch, to a wedding newspaper that beautifully captured all the wedding details along with fun facts about the couple. Even the return gift boxes and date boxes were customized with the couple’s wedding logo, adding a unique signature to their celebration. This wasn’t just a three-day wedding—it was a seamless blend of two families, two cultures, and two souls, leaving every guest with cherished memories of a love story beautifully told.”
Wedding Functions
Mehndi
“Misha and Alex’s Mehendi celebration was nothing short of magical, transforming the venue into an enchanted forest with lush floral installations, whimsical décor, and playful monkey props. Traditional ‘swaagat malas’ welcomed guests, setting the tone for a culturally immersive experience. Guests indulged in creating their personalized fragrance, while a fortune teller added a fun mystical touch, making the event both interactive and unforgettable. Our international guests enthusiastically embraced the tradition of applying Mehendi, whether men or women, adding to the vibrant cultural exchange”, shares Nishi.
Sangeet and Cocktail
The Sangeet was a spectacular blend of glamour, music, and heartfelt moments, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. Nishi recollects, “Misha & Alex made a show-stopping entrance and filled up a champagne tower, a moment that was dramatically enhanced by cold pyros and low fog effects, creating a cinematic celebration. The DJ and percussionist duo kept the dance floor alive, while family performances on nostalgic retro songs added a touch of warmth and sentiment. A selfie mirror photo booth captured candid moments and a personalized guest book preserved heartfelt messages for the couple.”
Haldi
The Haldi ceremony was a joyous celebration infused with Rajasthani charm, where tradition met cultural vibrance. Guests were welcomed with fragrant floral ‘gajras’, while a lac bangle-making station offered a cherished keepsake. The event came alive with graceful Marwari and Ghoomar dancers, bringing the spirit of Rajasthan to the forefront. Nishi adds, “The highlight was the ‘Phoolon Ki Haldi’, where instead of turmeric paste, the couple was showered with fragrant flower petals, creating a picture-perfect moment filled with love, blessings, and vibrant colors.”
Hindu Wedding
Nishi says, “The Hindu wedding was more than just a ceremony; it was a lesson in love and tradition. Set against a majestic backdrop of the Gateway of India, it was a breathtaking blend of grandeur and heartfelt customs. Alex’s baraat arrived in a vintage car, accompanied by the beats of dhol and pyro guns. The mandap, adorned with deep red roses, symbolized love and passion as the couple exchanged vows serenaded by the soulful melodies of a violinist. Lighthearted moments like the ‘Juta Churai’ added laughter, while the Kalira ritual was given a fun twist—where instead of the traditional blessing, Misha playfully shook her ‘kalireein’ over her bridesmaids to reveal the next bride-to-be. The varmala exchange under a spectacular floral shower created a cinematic memory.”

Christian Wedding
Intimate yet grand, the Christian wedding embraced sophisticated minimalism with dashes of personalisation. Guests were seated at tables named after destinations from the couple’s honeymoon itinerary, turning the reception into a glimpse of their future adventures. A sit-down dinner enhanced the sense of intimacy and sophistication and the couple’s LED glow-stick entrance transformed the venue into a sea of twinkling lights.
A bespoke wedding cake, designed to fulfil Misha’s childhood dream, served as a heartfelt centrepiece. Nishi adds, “As a miniature tribute to their beloved dogs, thoughtful details were incorporated into the cake, ensuring their presence was felt even when they couldn’t physically be part of the celebration. This meaningful touch, along with the elegance and warmth of the evening, made for the perfect sweet ending to a magical celebration.”
