How they met
The bride shares, “We met in 2015 while working for the same company. I was always aware of his feelings for me, but I was hesitant to mix my professional and personal life. Over time, his warm, friendly nature found its way to my heart, and our endearing friendship turned into a relationship. After a year and a half of dating, on his birthday trip to Burj Khalifa, he popped the question with the most romantic proposal I could have ever imagined. Needless to say, my answer was yes!”
The bride shares, “We were planning a traditional Bengali wedding in Kolkata. We were keen on a winter wedding in a lush open space. After some careful research, we zeroed in on the gorgeous property of The Lalit Great Eastern Kolkata for all the functions of our wedding.”
The elegant decor for the couple’s wedding was planned and executed by Artrageous, while the beautiful moments of the celebrations were immortalized in pictures to treasure forever, by the team of Vermillion Diaries. The bride was adorned with stunning wedding couture and jewelry by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, while Bhaskar Biswas gave her a flawless visage for her functions.
Haldi and After Party
The first day of the two-day festivities kicked off with an intimate Haldi ceremony with minimal yet vibrant decor in shades of white and yellow. The bride stood out with a fresh look of soft wavy hair worn with a floral pink lehenga by Onaya and jewelry from Shlok jewels and Jaipur Gems. The rituals were followed by a relaxing poolside after party where the couple and their friends enjoyed the evening.
Held in the lush expansive lawns of the venue, the wedding ceremony was a boho chic affair with quaint, romantic decor which exuded minimal elegance. The bride glowed in her golden Sabyasachi lehenga accentuated with exquisite jewelry from several jewelry houses, while the groom looked dapper in an ensemble from Koka, Dubai.
