Combining the best of glamour, fun and traditions, Nikita Sinha and Vedant Patwari’s union brimmed with warm moments. Designed by WeddingSutra Favorite – Desert Pearl Entertainment, the events sported vivid hues along with futuristic and traditional elements.
Wedding Planning
Designing the couple’s wedding was Desert Pearl Entertainment who ensured that traditions and contemporary trends got equal places in the spotlight. Each event was a mark of their precise craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. Elegant floral installations, jaw-dropping couple seating areas and ambient lighting were a major part of the design story.
Wedding Functions
Mehendi
Team Desert Pearl Entertainment shares, “We transformed the poolside into a magical oasis with twinkling lights and vibrant floral setups for this event. Candles were also strategically interspersed around the venue to set the mood. A live band performed while the ladies got their hands patterned with henna.”
Bhaat
For this traditional Marwari ritual where the bride’s family serves the groom’s side with a feast, the decor was true to tradition. The planning team gave us an overview of the design story, “The bhaat was an afternoon event where we decided to go traditional with the design. As a result, the ambience was elegant, and vibrant with a dash of quirky. The highlight of the decor was a rickshaw with floral installations which also made the perfect photo-op spot. Stalls like, balloon shooting and a palmist kept the guests occupied.”
Sangeet
“The sangeet was nothing less than a Bollywood movie with the couple donning indo-western outfits. White florals and disco balls amped up the glam quotient while the families put their best foot forward onstage. A short film showcasing the couple’s love story added a touch of nostalgia to the celebration”, recollects team Desert Pearl Entertainment.
Haldi
Bedecked with sunflowers, the haldi was marked with an exuberant couple entry. A stunning couple seating area with lush foliage and cheery sunflowers made jaws drop while a breezy canopy sheltered the guests from the sun. Fresh coconut water kept everyone cool as they playfully slathered the to-be-weds with a turmeric mixture.
Wedding
Romance and opulence took the front seat at the wedding ceremony where scarlet hues dominated the colour palette. The mandap was adorned with red blooms while crystal chandeliers cast their soft glow on the couple as they went about the wedding rituals. Once the rituals were complete, the newlyweds celebrated their union with fireworks and lanterns that floated in the sky.
