Pallavi and Ajay, Pune
This couple wanted a minimalistic wedding and used different vistas of their opulent hotel venue to create the ideal event locations.
Pallavi and Ajay tied the knot at the grand Courtyard by Marriott in Pune. With minimal but distinct elements, the couple managed to create a dreamy wedding.
How They Met
“We met at a matrimonial meet. We both felt something right from the moment we met but decided to take our time getting to know each other. Even so, things escalated pretty quickly and soon everything seemed to fall in place. We fell in love and got married a year later. Though it was an arranged marriage, we were very much in love.”
“We wanted to keep it simple and elegant, incorporating small but distinct elements. This made all the difference and we couldn’t have imagined a better outcome.”
The auspicious haldi ceremony marked the beginning of Pallavi and Ajay’s wedding festivities. The gorgeous bride donned a traditional yellow saree with green and golden borders. She completed her look with elegant jewellery made from beads, pink flowers and a nath (traditional Maharashtrian nose ring).
For the sangeet ceremony, the bride dazzled in a shimmering pink outfit, while the groom looked dashing in an embroidered maroon ensemble. The couple looked perfect together as their photographer captured romantic moments where they appeared lost in each other’s eyes.
The couple tied the knot surrounded by their loved ones. The bride made heads turn in an embroidered crimson lehenga from Kalki Fashions, with a red dupatta and an embellished beige chunari over her head. Her groom looked regal as he arrived at the mandap in a mauve bandhgala set with a red turban and kamarbandh (traditional embellished belt). Their gleeful smiles warmed the hearts of guests as their pheras were performed.
