How They Met
Interior designer Parisha first crossed paths with Anmol at his designer boutique in 2015 when she went shopping for her brother’s wedding. Despite having lived in the same city all their lives, they never crossed paths. But once they did, they bonded deeply and in no time felt like they had known each other forever. After a few days of chatting, they met for a long drive and realized they felt something real. From then on, there was no looking back!

The Proposal
Anmol planned a surprise proposal for Parisha on 30 November 2020, where she assumed it was a day-long outing with her beau. According to Parisha, Anmol encouraged her to buy a dress and get dolled up while on their way to Taj City Centre, Gurgaon. Parisha, who was under the impression that they were headed to a fancy dinner, didn’t question his intentions. But the moment she entered the restaurant, she realized something big was afoot as she took in the cozy setup of lights, roses, wine and photographs displaying the duo. Live music set a romantic and intimate mood while photographers stood around to capture their emotions as they danced. Parisha was enjoying this moment assuming that this was a special experience planned for her, but then Anmol took it to the next level and whipped out a ring and asked her to marry him. After happy tears and hugs, they celebrated over dinner and video calls with their families.

Wedding Planning
Being a huge fan of Bollywood, Parisha dreamt of a cinematic royal palace wedding in Udaipur, but since the Pandemic derailed their original plans, they zeroed in on Laxmi Vilas Palace, in Bharatpur, Rajasthan for their intimate destination wedding. Also, being an Interior Designer, she had very distinct ideas about decor themes and wedding details, and the team of Plush Weddings worked tirelessly to make them a reality and to give her the wedding of her dreams.

Most of the outfits for both the bride and the groom were designed by the groom himself, and were by Anmoll Chhabra Designs.

Wedding Functions
Mehndi
Kicking off the celebrations on a high note, the garden Mehndi saw a whirlwind of bright colors such as powder blue, lemon yellow and hot pink. Quirky elements of tassels, chevron prints and more, came together with fresh flowers in a refreshing setup for a lively morning of music and dance. The couple’s arrival in a jeep with smoke bombs was high octane, as they joined their loved ones in great spirit. They both sported ensembles by the groom’s eponymous label for the occasion.

The black-tie Cocktail encapsulated edgy glamor with elegant and eclectic decor in black and gold. Sharp, clean decor with geometric elements and mood lighting set a groovy ambience for a night of grand performances and non–stop enjoyment. The bride shimmered in a silver lehenga while the groom looked dapper in a classic tuxedo.

Haldi
The poolside Haldi was decked with bright yellow decor that put a funky spin on traditional elements. An abundance of marigold and mogra teamed with drapes elevated the heritage architecture of the space, while unique elements such as a Lord Ganesha mural made of marigolds and a huge pineapple installation made from sunflowers added a unique touch. Dressed in yellow, the couple sat in brass urlis as their loved ones doused them in Haldi and rose petals.

Warm lights and divine floral arrangements of roses, mogra and more, set a serene tone with effortless splendor. The bride looked like a queen in her self-designed red Banarasi lehenga, while the groom sported an ivory sherwani from his label.
