Parul and Ninad

How They Met
Ninad shares, “Parul and I first met during our pre-MBA days when we enrolled in the MBA prep class, even though we never interacted much. As fate would have it, we ended up in the same college and to top it off, in the same division! Being part of the same social group, our friendship developed organically over time, and slowly and surely evolved into love. Our relationship strengthened with each passing day, and I knew the time had come to take it to the next level”.

The Proposal
With help from his close friends, the groom planned an intimate proposal at the beautiful Le Meridien, Mahabaleshwar. Planned with the pretext of a monsoon weekend getaway, Ninad decorated one of their small huts along the stream. Enveloped in the enchanting weather and lush surroundings, who could ever turn down a proposal this romantic? Completely taken by surprise, Parul was overjoyed and agreed to spend the rest of her life with Ninad.

Wedding Venues
Having spent most of their lives in Mumbai, the couple decided to tie the knot in the city. With an extensive guest list, they searched for grand ballrooms in the city, which helped them narrow down their search. The sangeet and wedding were hosted at The Westin Mumbai Garden City, while the stylish reception took place at The St. Regis Mumbai.

Wedding Planning
To plan and manage every aspect of their wedding, the couple entrusted Memory Jar Events who ensured seamless preparations and detailed attention to the nitty-gritty of the celebrations. The couple shares, “The team also helped us reach out to the best vendors and gave us their undivided personal attention. All the functions were conducted perfectly and we would highly recommend them to everyone.” Harsh Mehta of The Photo Lab was roped in to capture all the wonderful moments in memorable frames. The couple goes on, “The team was really friendly and very open to our inputs wherever we felt it was required. They are also prompt!”

The acclaimed wedding decor team of Vivaah and Gurleen Puri execute the events to perfection, with unique themes for each. Nishma Palan from Elysium Patisserie created a gorgeous wedding cake.

An exotic canopy of red flowers, lush foliage, lit glass baubles and shimmering mosaic balls topped the bridal seating area. Advice for Couples
“If you’re having a hometown wedding, you can evenly spread out the functions instead of hosting multiple events in one day that is common in destination weddings. It helps with the logistics of planning events and allows one to have some valuable time to oneself in the process.”
