How We Met
Kapil and Pooja’s relationship goes back to the time when they were in school. Although they knew of each other back then, they did not really interact while growing up. Their paths crossed again when they were working and over time, they evolved from friends to soulmates.
Wedding Venues
The couple chose to host their wedding at the lush The Westin Mumbai Garden City in Goregaon, and their fun cocktail at the Estella restaurant in Juhu.

The wedding invitations were designed by EDC. Kapil and Pooja hired Movie’ing Moments to capture all their precious moments.

Cocktail
The wedding festivities kickstarted with a whimsical cocktail soirée at Estella, Juhu.
Mehndi & Haldi
After the cocktail, the couple hosted Mehndi and Haldi celebrations, while Pooja hosted this outdoor event at The Westin Mumbai Garden City, Kapil had an intimate ceremony planned at a beautiful bungalow! As for their attire, both chose to wear yellow for the ceremony, she wore a sunny ensemble that had beautiful embroidery and chic day jewellery comprising a light ‘Matha Patti’ (head ornament) and yellow bangles. He went for a comfortable yellow kurta and pyjamas.
Sangeet
Following, the sangeet at The Westin, saw everyone in high spirits! A performance by Ameya Date entertained all the guests who loved the sea-facing venue which was decorated with colorful pinwheels, green wreaths intertwined with flowers, and a large square frame inside the venue that had a floral border comprising large pastel blooms. This frame proved to be the perfect selfie spot! Pooja looked stunning in her grey gown while Kapil exuded contemporary charm in his blue Indo-western attire!
Wedding
Pooja and Kapil’s pheras took place under a magnificent canopy created with profusions of red blooms. Pooja wore a pink and maroon lehenga with glittery embellishments, and Kapil donned an ivory sherwani that was resplendent with green and pink prints all over. His silk mustard color turban added a pop of color to his look, and the regal turban ornament gave him a princely vibe. He arrived for the wedding ceremony on a brightly decorated horse. Pooja got married under a floral canopy! With bright blooms forming the roof of the mandap, the entire setting looked ethereal.
Reception
The reception was a glamorous affair where guests had a great time.
