Steeped in Maharashtrian traditions amidst a bevy of colors, Sakshi Jarhad and Pruthviraj Nemane’s wedding celebrations were simply stunning! Planned seamlessly by WeddingSutra Favorite – The Planning Paradise, their celebrations smoothly transitioned from traditional grandeur to modern glamor!
Wedding Planning
Sakshi shares, “We were aiming for a hassle-free experience and we’re happy to say that The Planning Paradise made it all possible in such a seamless manner. We approached them with a traditional wedding and royal reception in mind and they understood our brief from the get-go. For us, guest hospitality and couple entries were a priority for which The Planning Paradise left no stone unturned. Their planning and management skills ensured we could kick-back, relax and enjoy the festivities to the fullest.”
For Hardik Bhanushali from The Planning Paradise, the wedding gave wings to his team’s creativity as they catered to special requests from the couple. He shares, “Since ‘royal’ and ‘traditional’ were the main keywords in the couple’s brief, we made conscious efforts to look closely into the finer things to uplift the entire experience. On the couple’s request, we crafted a special Varmala made from Dutch roses and pearls that weighed around 6 kgs each. The reception saw a great show of pyrotechnics around the venue. Additionally, we catered to almost 3000 guests while coordinating the decor and VIP guests. All in all, it was a huge challenge which resulted in a colossal success.”
Weddings Functions
Haldi
The Haldi was beautifully traditional with the decor generously peppered with marigold garlands that lifted everyone’s spirits. Seated in brass urlis, the couple had a gala time as they celebrated with their loved ones who applied turmeric paste on them. For a traditional start, the couple made a Maratha-style entry!
Sangeet
Elegant, sparkly and lush, the Sangeet was truly glamorous! Green foliage accentuated the crystal chandeliers perfectly while a huge stage ensured everyone got an uninterrupted view of the exuberant performances. Meanwhile, a black and white color palette ensured the focus remained on the couple!
Wedding
For the big day, the couple showcased their love for traditional elements with a simple yet stunning mandap adorned with banana trees, marigolds and lush foliage. Standing under a canopy created out of suspended foliage and marigolds, the bride looked divine with her custom-made blouse that had a painting of the couple on the back. Additionally, the green color palette also held an auspicious significance as green is considered a symbol of faith, fertility and prosperity in Maharashtrian culture.
Reception
Taking a cue from the majestic Rajwada architecture, the couple’s Reception backdrop was a majestic one that exuded regal vibes. Using classy velvet drapes for that royal quotient, the Reception with its show-stopping couple entry punctuated with cold pyros was a real showstopper!
