Sakshi Sindwani and Raghav Arora, Taj Devi Ratn Resort & Spa, Jaipur 

Content Creator Sakshi Sindwani and her high-school sweetheart Raghav Arora began their journey as teenage dreamers and officially became life partners with a series of wedding celebrations spread across Delhi and Jaipur. Planning their union was WeddingSutra Favorite – Parinaya Sutra who orchestrated a series of glam events in line with the couple’s choices.

Wedding Planning
Dheera Likhi from Parinaya Sutra shares, “Sakshi and Raghav’s wedding spread across Delhi’s bustling charm and Jaipur’s royal elegance, was a grand fusion of heartfelt traditions, inclusivity, and an unmissable personal touch. From bespoke couture to joyous cricket matches, their celebration redefined what it means to truly enjoy your big day.

Sakshi and Raghav’s wedding wasn’t just a series of events; it was a heartfelt celebration of who they are as individuals and as a couple. Whether it was the tender moment of Sakshi handing Raghav a letter after her chooda ceremony or their shared laughter during the cricket match, every detail was thoughtfully crafted to reflect their bond. The wedding was more than fashion, rituals, or grandeur—it was about cherishing their roots, embracing inclusivity, and, above all, having fun.”

Wedding Functions
Sagan and Sukhmani Sahib Path
Soothing hues of blue and ivory adorned the venue during the Sukhmani Sahib Path where the couple honoured their roots. As chants filled the air, the aura of auspiciousness was accentuated by the cascading ivory and peach blooms that adorned the venue. The lush greenery intertwined with white blossoms and golden planters enhanced the spiritual essence, while the wooden console table with carefully arranged offerings added a traditional touch. Every detail, from the soft floral hues to the meticulously placed decor elements, spoke of understated sophistication and devotion.

Dhol Night
The Dhol Night was the crescendo of the couple’s wedding celebrations in Delhi. The night was filled with energetic performances, impromptu dance performances, and unending cheers — setting the stage for the journey to Jaipur. And, true to her fashionista reputation, Sakshi turned heads in her bold burnt orange sharara!

Mehndi
For Sakshi, her mehndi ceremony was close to her heart. Dheera shares, “For every bride, her Mehendi ceremony is a cherished chapter in her wedding story, and this bride made it extra special by hosting it at home—just as she always dreamed! Surrounded by loved ones, singing, dancing, and applying mehendi together, her Mehendi day was filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. A perfect blend of tradition, love, and modern aesthetics, this Mehendi ceremony was everything a bride could wish for—authentic, heartwarming, and unforgettable! ”

Welcome Lunch and Cricket
The festivities in Jaipur began with a lively welcome lunch and cricket match between the bride and groom’s side. Paying homage to Sakshi’s father, a national level cricketer, the match had the guests donning customized sweatshirts and bandanas designed by the bride herself, cheering for ‘Team Bride’ and ‘Team Groom’. Both sides were at their competitive best with playful sledging, loud cheers echoing across the field along with plenty of joy and banter between the teams.

Haldi
At the boho haldi, Sakshi was at her fashionable best with an ivory-hued lehenga complemented by a plush red dupatta. Her mogra-adorned hairdo with garlands of mogra cascading to the floor added to the dreamy look of the haldi. Dheera shares, “The decor was an ode to nature, with a stunning array of florals taking centre stage. A canopy of white and gold flowers adorned the venue, radiating serenity and grace. Delicate blooms, combined with earthy tones, highlighted the soothing essence of the Haldi ritual while maintaining an opulent vibe. The seating arrangements—an exquisite mix of vintage chairs and plush cushions—were complemented by floral vases and golden accents, blending minimalism with grandeur.”

Sangeet
After the ethereal haldi celebration, it was time to amp up the glamour quotient with an energetic sangeet that began with dusk. The night was a celebration of Sakshi and Raghav’s love for dance and music, featuring choreographed performances and spontaneous grooves that left everyone spellbound.

Wedding
Dheera tells us how Sakshi and Raghav pursued an off-beat route at the wedding that ultimately led to unforgettable moments, “For their pheras, they opted for a 15-person choir, a group that had only sung at one wedding before. This bold, creative decision was an unexpected twist that left guests in awe, adding an element of surprise and enchantment to the sacred ritual. Sakshi, ever the perfectionist and someone with a keen eye for detail, wasn’t just content with a one-time performance. She took an active role in shaping the choir’s performance, attending many of their rehearsals to ensure that their music would be as flawless as the rest of the ceremony.” On the design front, the bride stayed true to her love for contemporary yet traditional designs with a gypsos adorned mandap and a white aisle lined with matching blooms.

Reception
Dheera shares, “Breaking every stereotype, their reception was a whimsical pajama party themed ‘Drag Queen Glam’. The star of the night, drag queen Rani Kohenur, dazzled the crowd with her performance, epitomizing inclusivity. The couple danced the night away, surrounded by loved ones in their most authentic, relaxed selves.

The reception was also a pajama party. After all, who says you need to wear a heavy cocktail dress to enjoy a grand party? Sakshi’s vision was clear: swap the formality for dazzling yet comfy pajamas and dance the night away under a celestial glow. The inspiration for this whimsical event came straight from the stars. With a theme based on the galaxy, floating lights, constellations, planets, and the Milky Way, the whole setup was designed to make guests feel like they were stepping into another world. After multiple brainstorming sessions, mood boards, and ideas exchanged between Sakshi, the design team, and the planning crew, the concept truly took shape. It was clear that every detail mattered, from the life-sized planets placed around the venue to the meticulous design of the walkways and entrances that guided guests through the cosmic experience.

The cocktail menu was equally as thoughtful, with drinks crafted to align with the cosmic theme. Each drink had a name that resonated with the couple’s love story and their vision for the night—playful and sparkling, just like the event itself.”
