From the Tuscan Haldi to the Mehndi inspired by African jungles, witness the myriad moods of this stunning cross-cultural wedding celebration.

While Sanjana, an easygoing spirit who loves life and family, and Viresh, a jet-setting social butterfly with a multifaceted professional life, might be poles apart by nature, their wedding was a heartfelt coming-together of their two worlds, planned to perfection by WeddingSutra Favorite – Marriage Colours. Watch it all unfold.

Wedding Planning
Armed with years of ideas, inspiration, and mood boards for each of her functions, Sanjana turned to Pradeep Chandar of Marriage Colors to bring her dream wedding to life. She shares, “Their hashtag was #Visabooked, which was derived from the first two letters of our names, while each event was depicted as a different destination with a twist. Overall our guests thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the whole wedding experience, and it was beyond memorable for us. This is everything that I had asked for and Marriage Colours made it possible.”

Wedding Functions
Sangeet
Imagined with the theme of “Interstellar”, the Sangeet function, with its edgy, dark decor and exuberant revelries, was quite literally out of this world! The couple dressed in chic ensembles of black and gold to match the mood as they took to the stage with their loved ones and danced the night away under a canopy of glittering lights and disco balls.

Haldi
The Haldi followed by the traditional ceremonies of Pellikoduku and Pellikuthuru were infused with exotic Tuscan charm with citrus fruits, flowers, and foliage. The breezy outdoor decor followed suit in a colour palette of yellow, orange, and green, against which the couple painted a pretty picture surrounded by their loved ones.

Mehndi
The earthy decor and lush greenery of the Mehndi ceremony imbibed the occasion with an African-inspired jungle vibe. Large animal installations, a life-size vogue cover photo corner, and more added to the stunning visual escape. The bride flaunted a vibrant green lehenga with exquisite nature-inspired embroidery and embellishments as she entered amidst colourful smoke, and the function saw tons of fun and games. The couple did a wardrobe change for the evening dinner that was full of lovely family moments.
