How They Met
Life’s plan of making Sanya and Vishesh meet first on a school trip to Shimla and then in Malaysia was a sign that the two were meant to be. On an impulse, he asked her out on a date on their flight back to Mumbai only to hear her say ‘No’. Finding different ways to woo her worked in his favor, and they finally started dating only to part ways after three long years. Vishesh shifted to London to pursue his bachelor’s degree, and they spoke to each other once in a blue moon. The two picked up again as friends and soon realized they couldn’t stay away from each other. Now here they are, happily married.

Since their wedding dates were clashing with other weddings at the property, the couple shifted their dates thrice to ensure their functions were celebrated at this stunning hotel.

Wedding
The groom arrived in a vintage Rolls Royce decorated with flowers which was followed by the milni ceremony where the bride’s side of the family greeted the baraatis with pearl garlands. As soon as the bride walked down the aisle with live chanting echoing in the background, the couple exchanged the garlands. Their mandap, decorated with vintage crystal chandeliers and ornate pillars bedecked with roses, was set on the lush lawns of the property overlooking the Arabian Sea, where they exchanged their wedding vows. A satiating dinner was served to the guests post the pheras. Sanya kept her look classic by wearing a heavily embellished red Sabyasachi lehenga. Vishesh, on the other hand, wore a traditional white embroidered sherwani which he paired with a multi-colored safa and stole.

Advice For Couples
“The day you decide to get married is the day you should start looking for venues, especially in Mumbai, because of the peak wedding season. It goes the same with all the other bookings, whether it’s your makeup artist or wedding planner.
