A Bollywood-style sleek sangeet to a traditional wedding ceremony - this couple’s destination wedding was a spectacular celebration.
An ode to tradition and all things desi, Shreya Agarwal and Vedant Singhania’s destination wedding was vibrant and full of smiles. Planned and designed by WeddingSutra Favorite – Dhaaga Events, each celebration at this union was picture-perfect.
Wedding Planning
The couple shares, “We both wanted a royal destination wedding in Raichak among our family members and loved ones. We entrusted the team of Dhaaga Events to plan, design all of our wedding functions. The team designed each function with a different and unique theme, exquisite decor and festivities and ensured every moment of the destination wedding was fun-filled, beautiful, and memorable for us and our guests.”
Wedding Functions
Myra
Punctuated by the beats of the dhol and flaunting a bright fuchsia hue, the myra celebration took a cue from the hues of Punjab. With everyone dancing the bhangra and taking refreshments from a truck-themed bar – this event made way for plenty of fun times.
Sangeet
At Indian weddings, it’s hard to resist organising a bollywood-themed sangeet. And, to amp up the glamour levels, that’s exactly what Shreya and Vedant did as they opted for a colorful sangeet where everyone had their dancing shoes on! Equipped with a vast stage with an LED backdrop and an elegant monochrome dancefloor, the sangeet had everyone in high spirits.
Haldi
Serene with swaying banana leaves and delicate white blooms, the South Indian-themed haldi event was hosted under the bright sun. Along with coconut water to keep cool and breezy canopies – the couple’s loved ones had a relaxing time at the haldi as they donned kasavu sarees and playfully slathered the couple with turmeric.
Wedding
As the groom arrived on a jeep accompanied by dhol walas and cold pyros, the wedding kicked off on an energetic note. Framed by heritage architecture and hosted under the star-studded sky, the wedding was, both, traditional and romantic. After a graceful varmala ceremony, the couple tied the knot under a mandap decorated with suspended white blooms.
