How they met
Simran and Jatan’s story of love is a beautiful example of the surprises fate throws our way in life. Simran shares, “The first time I saw Jatan was during an industrial visit that our college arranged at his company. Even though we barely glanced at each other, I had a lengthy conversation with his father about the company’s journey. Imagine my surprise when I received a call from my mother saying that Jatan’s family had approached them with a proposal! This serendipitous meeting got us talking and we soon became friends, and before we knew it, we were in love.”
Today, Simran, who is a Chartered Accountant, and Jatan who is an engineer by qualification, both work for their respective family businesses while residing in Mumbai.
Simran shares, “Jatan had always wanted a Rajasthani Palatial wedding. We had just about 90 days to plan the entire thing, but we were most certain that we wanted it to be a destination Palace wedding in Rajasthan. We diligently explored 7 properties across Udaipur and Jaipur, but the moment we arrived at The Leela Palace Jaipur, we knew we had found our dream venue.
