How they met
The groom shares, “We met while attending grad school in the fall of 2018. Our very first interaction was in the Statistics class where Sneha used to be the professor’s favorite student and sat in the front row, and I couldn’t help but notice her. From glancing at her in class to reacting to every Instagram story she uploaded, visiting her at Starbucks where she worked, and going to events like Diwali parties together, our bond slowly and surely evolved into something special. We started dating in Feb of 2019 and the rest is history!”

Searching for a unique venue with abundant natural beauty, the couple zeroed in on The Forest Club Resort in Karjat for their 2-day celebrations. Wedding Planning
With a challenging time zone difference to navigate, the couple started planning their wedding around May 2023. Arth Eventertainment was entrusted to craft minimalistic decor that enhanced the beauty of the venue, while the bride chose her wedding lehenga by Sunaina Khera virtually. Team Storyteller by BT was brought on board to capture their special moments.
The bride shares, “I was very particular about choosing a photographer since pictures are eternal. I wanted candid photography for the most natural clicks that reflected real emotions. I came across Storyteller by BT and loved how fresh their work was. Bhairavi and her team made it extremely comfortable for us and our guests. They were professional and friendly at the same time. They made sure to get shots even during the busy times. They captured authentic moments in beautiful frames that we will cherish forever”.
Wedding Functions
Haldi
Following a traditional Sakharpuda on the first day, a lively Haldi soiree kicked off the revelries. The cheerful decor of yellow marigolds lit up the lush greenery of the space, making for a radiant backdrop for the occasion. Dressed in gold and yellow, the couple smiled with glee as their loved ones smeared them with turmeric and showered them with flower petals. It was a morning filled with love and laughter.
Sangeet
Hosted with twinkling lights and gorgeous blooms nestled in verdant foliage, the Sangeet saw a night of dancing under the stars. Dressed in striking ensembles of ivory, the couple danced their way in amidst magical mist and exchanged rings to loud cheers and applause. The evening abounded with stunning musical melodies and family performances.
Wedding
The couple honored their respective religious faiths by tying the knot with a Hindu Maharashtrian ceremony as well as a Jain ceremony. A simple yet stunning setup of pastel blooms and white drapes lent their rituals a tranquil, traditional ambiance. The couple dressed in a striking hue of wine for their Maharashtrian wedding, slipping into creations of red and white for the second ceremony.
