Sruthi and Daniel’s intimate wedding on a remote riverside hill in Kerala was truly an artist’s retreat, with a congregation of Architects, Designers and Photographers making up the guest list. From a relaxed Sangeet celebration in shorts and shirts with beer and kayaking to a beautiful nuptial ceremony that invoked serenity and warmth, this soulful wedding was like no other. How They Met
Daniel and Sruthi crossed paths as students while studying at the Rhode Island School of Design. Smitten by Sruthi’s beauty, confidence and down-to-earth nature, he expressed his love by making up songs about her, which despite annoying her in the beginning, soon won her heart. After college, their jobs took them far away from each other, and Daniel went above and beyond to be with the love of his life. Eventually, when Shruti could not come back to the US, he took the leap of faith of quitting his job, wrapping us his life, and moving to London to be with her. Despite all misgivings, cultural and background differences and continental adjustments, their love prevailed, and they never looked back.
