Wedding Planning
Considering the challenges of the Pandemic, the couple decided to tie the knot with a memorable yet safe and practical wedding celebration. Their gorgeous intimate pre-wedding ceremonies at home, as well as their wedding at the Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara in Gravesend saw breathtaking décor, tranquil moments and an abundance of joy.

The bride worked in tandem with the team of Dream Occasions to bring her visions to life, resulting in beautifully designed themed décors for each function that exuded grandeur. Incredible couture pieces from Sabyasachi Mukherjee enrobed the couple in royalty for most of the functions, while exclusive ornaments from Sabyasachi Jewellery and Amrapali Jewels added to their splendor. Their special moments were frozen in flawless shots by Eyejogia.

Wedding Functions
Engagement
The festivities kicked off with an intimate yet grand engagement dinner. Decked with arrangements of white blooms and candles, the grandeur of the event was a spectacle to behold. A canopy of tinsel with roses lit up the space with fresh flowers and white candles, further adding to the whimsical mood. Dressed in a pink Anita Dongre lehenga, the bride was doused in turmeric paste and flower petals by her loved ones.

Advice for couples
“Having a close-knit wedding, especially in a place that is close to your heart, is a very special way to tie the knot! Not only is one in complete control of the guest list, but the wedding ceremony itself is more relaxed, comfortable, and fun! For us, there were no delays or worries about the budget, and with pre-wedding stress being the last thing on our minds, we were able to completely concentrate on each other. The most important thing is to keep an open mind and make adjustments wherever you deem fit.”
