How They Met
Introduced by a friend, this couple had a series of dates that quickly blossomed into love. And once they realized it, there was no turning back for Dhruv and Tanveen.

The Proposal
Keeping it classy, Dhruv went down on one knee and popped the question to Tanveen amidst the glittering landscapes of Dubai. With an instant ‘yes!’ from the soon to be bride, the deal was sealed, and the couple was soon happily engaged.

Wedding Venue
For the wedding venues, Tanveen went for the best of the bunch, like Radisson Kolkata Ballygunge for the sangeet, JW Marriott Kolkata for the wedding and finally, a sparkly reception at ITC Sonar’s sprawling grounds for her finale moment.

Wedding Planning
Tanveen was at the top of her game for her wedding and collaborated with her mom to make sure everything fell into place just as she had envisioned. She shares, “I’m a wedding planner myself so I didn’t want to do anything too loud. We kept it very elegant and classy. The entire decor was designed and conceptualized by us which made it very unique.” Apart from the breathtaking decor, the couple also had a wedding anthem composed and managed to rope in Dilbagh Singh for the sangeet night.

Wedding Functions

Mehndi
A fresh and breezy occasion, the Mehndi was full of positive vibes as Tanveen donned a lime green kurta with gotta patti work and accessorized it with floral jewellery. She glowed with happiness as she was surrounded by her girl squad, who got fun henna patterns on their hands that evening. Dhruv also chose to add a pop of green to his outfit with a lime green jacket adding character to his white kurta.

Sangeet
The Sangeet was a groovy affair with Dilbagh Singh wooing the guests with his melodious tunes. Following the theme of pastels and flowers, Tanveen donned a light peach-pink lehenga which was minimalistic yet elegant. Accessorizing her outfit was a pair of delicate diamond earrings with a matching necklace and bangles that adorned her henna patterned wrists. Keeping her outfit together as she shook a leg was a stunning bejeweled belt that enhanced the golden hues of her dupatta. Dhruv, on the other hand, chose a navy blue, contemporary sherwani with accents of black and floral embroidery.

Wedding
Following the Sangeet, the wedding was a light and gleeful affair following the theme of ‘lotus and peacock’. The theme was clearly visible in the decor as metallic peacocks with floral feathers adorned the venue to welcome the guests. Mirroring the bride, the flowers used were of a delicate pink and white hue that gave the venue a decidedly feminine air. Tanveen looked radiant in a finely embroidered light pink lehenga with golden thread work and bright red floral motifs. Accentuating the gold in her lehenga was a statement-making kundan jewellery set which included a maang tikka, earrings, two necklaces and a pair of bangles. Dhruv also decided to follow the pink and white color scheme in his white sherwani with gold embroidery and pale pink prints. The newly married couple was all smiles as they took their vows amongst their near and dear ones in this dreamy ceremony.
