Tripti and Aman, Greater Noida

Designer Tripti Manakapure’s wedding to Pilot Aman Bam was a memorable blend of beguiling decor, warm family moments and charming personal touches, hosted against the majestic backdrop of Crowne Plaza Greater Noida. Watch their festivities unfold below.

How we met
Tripti shares, “Aman & I were introduced by our mothers in the thick of the first lockdown in 2020. Since we were based in Bangalore and Delhi respectively, we started by communicating over messages and calls, and we developed a strong connection in just a matter of days. Aman is a pilot, so we were fortunate enough to be able to meet soon after and even got engaged. After 8 months of courtship, we tied the knot in March 2021.”

Wedding venue
With the bride being based out of Delhi, the couple was on the search for a versatile, gorgeous venue with a variety of indoor and outdoor venue options for their intimate wedding, and they found their dream location at Crowne Plaza Greater Noida. Conveniently located, the sprawling venue combined striking spaces both indoors and out, with impeccable hospitality for a memorable experience. The engagement was hosted in the ballroom space of the property while the daytime pre-wedding festivities were by the poolside. The wedding with its plush decor was held outdoors.

Wedding Planning
The intimate celebration was captured in vivid detail by the team of Sona Sachdeva Photography. The bride designed the couple’s wedding ensembles herself, with bespoke intricate embroidery and detailing.

Wedding function

Mehndi
The festivities kicked off with a vibrant yet laidback poolside Mehndi function. Colorful decor in hues of pink and orange set a lively bohemian tone for the occasion, while elements such as intricate walls, drapes, antique lamps and more, added a mystical Arabian twist to the ambience. The bride gave the tradition of wearing green a unique edge with an indo-western jacket lehenga, fierce open curls and bold jewellery. The groom duly complemented her by pairing his cream kurta with an embroidered green jacket.

Sangeet and Engagement
The Sangeet ceremony was a glamorous yet elegant soiree with an evening full of dance, music and enjoyment. Stunning floral arrangements, ambient lighting, chandeliers and more, set a classic atmosphere in the ballroom where the couple and their loved ones danced the night away. Tripti shimmered in a sequined wine lehenga while Aman looked dapper in a classic black suit.

Haldi
The Haldi function was a warm traditional ceremony with a customary decor of yellow drapes and marigolds that added to the tranquil feel of the ritual. The bride and groom smiled happily as their loved ones smeared them with turmeric paste.

Wedding
The Wedding was an enchanting affair hosted in the lush outdoor space of the property. Pastel decor in dreamy shades of pink and lavender adorned the verdant green space. Striking floral arrangements and delicate metallic votives, lanterns and other props made for a lovely contrast. The stunning mandap was designed with leafy green columns, a floral canopy and flowing drapes that painted a beautiful picture against the grand structure of the hotel beyond. The couple sported gorgeous coordinated baby pink and blue attire designed by the bride herself for the traditional Marathi nuptials.
