How They Met
The bride shares, “We were introduced by a mutual friend during our school days, and had become the best of friends. Pretty soon our friendship blossomed into deeper feelings, and we started dating, but for a while it was just puppy love. However with time, our feelings for each other grew stronger right through high school, college and then post graduation. After a decade of being together, Aadit popped the question to me amidst our close friends, and there was no looking back since”.

Wedding Planning
Originally planned to be hosted across two cities, after the Pandemic, Twishaa and Aadit’s wedding was finally held at her farmhouse in Ahmedabad, which was perfectly intimate for their celebration.

The celebrated team of Sam & Ekta was entrusted to capture their special moments. The bride shares, “Since I saw their work, I wanted them to shoot my wedding. Sam & Ekta were sweet, accommodating and exceptionally professional throughout, despite the changes in dates and venue. Our experience with them for our pre-wedding shoot was incredible, and we knew we had made the right call. They made us and our family so comfortable on camera, and they completely blended into our festivities like we had been friends all our lives. We highly recommend them.”

Prasang Events was roped in to plan the details, while Myriad Event Stylists and Decorators executed the décor.

Wedding Functions
Mehndi
The festivities kicked off with a pooja, followed by a sunny Mehndi function held in the lawns of the bride’s family farmhouse. Stepping away from the usual bright colors that are used for Mehndi décor, they opted for dainty ivory hues. Strings of mogras and shevantis added serenity to the lush surroundings along with Jodhpuri tents and other traditional accents. The bride looked divine in a teal blue velvet lehenga by Sabyasachi Mukherjee which perfectly complemented the groom’s sky blue attire.

Sangeet
The Mehndi function extended into the Sangeet, and as the evening progressed, bright shimmering lights added some whimsy to the décor. There were LED Cabanas as well as a stage with a stunning foliage backdrop and LED lights, where the couple and their loved ones reveled to the music amidst several performances through the evening late into the night.

Haldi
The sunny afternoon Haldi was a fun-filled event with grooving DJ music and a phoolon ki holi. The bride and groom donned quirky yellow outfits as they were covered with turmeric paste and showered with red rose petals and water amidst peals of laughter. Bright marigolds added some citrus magic to the green environs.

Wedding
The wedding saw rustic romantic décor that looked enchanting framed against the farmhouse and its verdant lawns. Blooms of red and pink dotted the greenery of the venue as well as the earthy mandap, making for a natural yet breathtaking setup. The bride and groom contrasted the vibrancy of the décor in soft ivory and blush hues that created a delightful contrast to the shower of red rose petals as they exchanged their vows.
