How They Met
Vani shares, “Akash and I met seven years ago at a wedding and the connection was instant. These seven years have been filled with crazy memories and we ended up finding our soulmate in each other.”

Wedding Planning
In every wedding, the decor plays a critical role in setting the mood for the occasion and is also an opportunity for the couple to spread their creative wings. It was no different for Akash and Krishna who envisioned their perfect wedding for a long time. They entrusted the decor reigns to Taarini Weddings who amplified their vision, and how! The bride shares, “Working with Taarini Weddings was a phenomenal experience as they understood me as a bride and were focused on making my day a beautiful one. Their design sense and aesthetics were in sync with mine, and the final executions were even better than what was initially showcased. Each team member was warm, dedicated and passionate as they supported us way beyond what they were assigned!”

Weddings Functions
Haldi
Vani shares, “We actually had a Pinterest board in the making for quite some time but then team Taarini Weddings went above and beyond what we were expecting! They served us a unique blend of decor themes that resonated with us. For the Haldi, it was the same as they orchestrated a yellow-themed event with fun elements like fruits, traditional chai stands, colorful kites and tassels interspersed around the venue.”

Sangeet
Vani shares, “Following the theme ‘Jungle-Disco’ the Sangeet was a bewitching combination of lush green foliage and glamorous lights. The moment we stepped into the venue, we felt like we’d stepped into a disco in the middle of a forest! Additionally, a monochrome dancefloor ensured that everyone had plenty of space to shake a leg!”

Wedding
“For the Wedding, we decided to go with opulence and the decor revolved around my Sabyasachi outfit. Swathed in red hues which were accentuated by pops of gold, the big day looked incredibly lavish! White floral tassels were suspended from the roof of the mandap along with brass bells and a gold mirror finish flooring gave the proceedings a glamorous vibe while retaining an inherent Indian flavor”, recollects Vani.

Advice For Couples
Vani shares, “Make sure you do ample research for the right outfits and looks that suit your style and body type. Don’t be impulsive or experimental, instead go with designs and colors that you’re comfortable with. Have a look at all options and only then go ahead with the finalizing. Also, make sure you book reliable people who are passionate about what they do. Remember to make lists and have timelines in place for everything. Do not keep tasks pending while running up to the last few weeks before your wedding. Lastly, just enjoy every day and every moment! Things might not go as per plan but nobody knows what was planned except you, so make the most of it.”
