Local attractions: Patong Beach, Phi Phi Islands, Maya Bay Island, Bangla Street, James Bond Island, Tiger Kingdom, Jungceylon Mall, Phuket Zoo.
Our Recommendations
- Snorkelling & Diving at Phi Phi Islands. You can book the same through local agents or at the resort you are staying in.
- Tiger Kingdom: Click pictures with tigers. Posing with them and touching them is a unique experience.
- Thai Massage
- For a perfect honeymoon, one must strike a balance between outdoor activities and time for relaxation. Having a packed schedule may end up leaving you exhausted.
- Carry a lot of sunscreen
- Take very less luggage when you go for activities so you can enjoy as much and don’t have to worry about luggage.
Best meal: The best meal on the trip was a Masala Dosa in a South Indian Restaurant named Madras Café. We were actually very tense about the food as Avnee is a pure vegetarian and we had heard that what is typically available there is sea food, pork or beef. So after hunting for vegetarian restaurants around Patong beach and Bangla Street, we finally found this South Indian Restaurant which serves very delicious Indian food.
