How they met
The high school sweethearts first met each other through a mutual friend, and felt an instant connection they could not deny. Their friendship evolved into love and soon they started dating, after which there was no looking back. After 8 years of togetherness they decided to take the plunge and tied the knot at Taj Lands End, Mumbai.
Honeymoon Planning
The couple envisioned a relaxing getaway after their wedding excitement, to just unwind and pamper their senses, and hence decided on the enchanting beauty and one-of-a-kind experience of stunning Maldives. Honeymoon Highlights
For their 5-day trip to the Maldives, the couple stayed at the 5 star Emerald Resort & Spa on Fasmendhoo Island. They made the most of their stay by opting for the Water Villa for the first 3 nights, and then shifting to the Beach Villa for the last two. From adventure activities like scuba-diving and dolphin watching, to mesmerizing sunsets, enjoying a sumptuous floating breakfast in the pool and private dinners on the beach, they enjoyed all the experiences and natural beauty that Maldives has to offer.
Best meal of the trip
The best meal of the trip was our honeymoon dinner arranged by the Resort, which was set up right by the shore with lights surrounding our table in the shape of a heart. They curated a special menu for us and the best dish hands down was the truffle Risotto.”
Most romantic moment
“The most romantic moment has to be getting to celebrate 8 years of being together, not as partners but as a married couple. The restaurant arranged an amazing cake for us and played a beautiful playlist of all the romantic songs. As Udayan and I slow danced, it made me realize how far we had come and how much we had accomplished in our relationship, and as I thought about our future as a married couple, it brought tears to my eyes.”

“After the hectic wedding celebrations, your honeymoon is the perfect opportunity to unwind. Try to relax and enjoy everything this wonderful place has to offer, as it is bound to be one of the best experiences of your life. Also, stay hydrated, as the sun and the tropical climate can sometimes feel harsh.”
