“Harit and I first met through families in November 2014 in New Delhi. We hit it off and after our seven-hour blind date, we knew we would end up marrying each other! We tied the knot at The Park Hyatt in Dubai in November this year.”

“We were both sure about our honeymoon destinations from the start. We had planned a three-week honeymoon during which we visited Hawaii’s Maui Island, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Napa Valley, Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon.”
Honeymoon Highlights
“We took the most beautiful drive of our lives when we drove from San Francisco to Los Angeles along the Pacific Ocean Highway. We enjoyed our stays at the Four Seasons hotel in Hawaii, Palace Hotel in San Francisco, Napa Hotel in Napa Valley and Encore in Vegas which were all amazing, and we really enjoyed driving everywhere!”
Best Meal
“The best meal we had was at Nobu in Malibu, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, which offered a truly stunning view. Another great and extremely memorable meal was in Maui from a random Thai food truck which was parked on the corner of the street! It was by far the best Thai green curry we have ever had! We even packed it and went back to the hotel to eat it.”
Most Romantic Moments
“In Maui, we drove to the Hana and Haleakala regions. While driving to Hana, there were random waterfalls, springs, hidden beaches and natural pools, and we kept getting off the car and jumping into them. All you need is a lot of sunscreen, swimsuit and towels in the car for enjoying the best moments and memories! Also, my first Karwa Chauth was in Hawaii where Harit and I were driving around the island trying to get the best glimpse of the moon! That was an extremely unusual Karwa Chauth!”
Advice to Couples
“We recommend couples self-drive if they plan on following our itinerary. Make sure to rent a car – preferably a convertible – and enjoy the Pacific Ocean drive through the West Coast.”
