Honeymoon Planning
“Kunwar is a pilot and had completed his training at a flying school in San Diego. It had almost been a decade since he visited the school. He wanted to show me the flying school and where he used to stay back then. He also wanted to take me on a ride in the very first aircraft in which he learned how to fly! So we decided to visit California on our honeymoon, and also visited Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and San Francisco.”

Honeymoon Highlights
“We visited four cities, so we stayed at different hotels everywhere. In Los Angeles, we stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Los Angeles. We picked Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Hilton San Diego Bayfront in San Diego and Holiday Inn in San Francisco. In Los Angeles, we did the city tour and visited the Universal Studios followed by the Sea World on the third day. A must-visit place in San Francisco is Ghirardelli, if you love chocolates as much as I do! Fisherman’s Wharf is quite a lot of fun to stroll around and see people performing vehicle stunts on streets. In San Diego, we covered the magic mountains as both of us love adventurous activities, but one can avoid these if you want a more relaxed romantic honeymoon. We wanted more of a blend – so we partied a lot in San Diego and Las Vegas, where we highly recommend catching some shows apart from partying. We managed to go to ‘Zumanity’ by Cirque De Soilel and ‘Mind Reading’ by Fredrick Da Silva.”

Best Meal of the Trip
“We enjoyed amazing American food such as burgers and pizzas throughout our trip, and it would be unfair to mention just one meal or place. At the Fisherman’s Wharf, we tried nice seafood places. Fantastic options are also available at the Las Vegas strip.”

Most Romantic Moment
“Honeymoon trips as a whole are romantic, but yes there were a few such moments that were beyond romantic. Our nice quiet dinner in San Francisco with the beautiful weather and the serene surroundings made it even better. Our visit to his flying school in San Diego where we shared nostalgic moments is an experience we will cherish forever.”
