Jinal and Ronak met in Architecture school in Rajkot. Jinal was Ronak’s junior in college and they got married in November 2013 in Ahmedabad. Ronak writes about their Europe honeymoon.
Honeymoon planning
“I had been to France and Italy when I was dating Jinal, but the trip was with my cousins. During that holiday itself, I decided that I would visit Europe again right after marrying Jinal. The cities are so romantic that it truly feels that love is in the air. We always dreamt of kissing on top of the Eiffel Tower, visiting snow covered mountains and walking along the beach. We finally zeroed on Switzerland, Nice, Monaco, Cannes, Antibes and Paris and traveled in the month of December.

Best Experiences
Our most romantic moment was on top of Mount Titlis where I carried Jinal and was swinging her on top of the snow capped mountains. In fact we named our trip as ‘Chilling Swiss, Sexy Nice and Romantic Paris’. Our best meal of the trip was the pizza at Laussane railway station which was freshly cooked in front of us and customized as per our preferences. The lasagne we ate in Zermatt is the best I have ever eaten.
Recommendations
Must experience: Switzerland is perfect for honeymooners
Can-avoid: Antibes and Cannes. Spend more time in Nice and enjoy the sea and the sun.
