Sea-lovers Namrata and Darshan explored the marvel of the exotic Mediterranean for their long indulgent honeymoon.
Spanning 11 locations across 3 countries over 25 days, Namrata and Darshan kicked off their new life with a blissful adventure through the gorgeous views and unique cultures of western Europe. With both being thalassophiles, they were drawn to the beguiling blue waters constantly, and they shared a glimpse of their experiences with us.
Honeymoon Planning
“When we started planning our honeymoon, we knew we wanted a long trip, which allowed us to cover several places. We are both sea-lovers and had always wanted to explore Southern Italy. Finally, after considering various European destinations, we decided on covering several cities across Italy, Netherlands and Greece.”
Honeymoon Highlights
The 25-day long honeymoon began with the fashion capital of Milan, where the couple lived in the heart of the city close to the Iconic Duomo Cathedral. They then covered the unique experiences and sights of Lake Como, Positano, Amalfi, Capri, rounding off the Italian leg of the trip. Moving on, they headed to Amsterdam and Geithoorn, and finally, culminated this exciting holiday in Greece, where they explored Santorini, Mykonos, Ios island and Athens.
Best meal of the trip
“The most delectable dining experience was Ambrosia Santorini, a chic, all-white cliff top restaurant overlooking the caldera. Over a romantic candle light dinner we savored the ambrosia salad, salmon tartare for appetizers and catch of the day (their everyday special) followed by baklava with pistachio ice cream for dessert.”
Most romantic moment
“While our entire trip was an absolute dream, I have to say that our most romantic moment would have to be the private yacht ride that Darshan booked for us as a surprise from Positano to Capri. Exploring the beautiful caves on the way serenaded by traditional music was a surreal experience. Another highly memorable experience was staying in the cave pool suite in Mykonos.”

“Sampling local delicacies and wines across the trip is an absolute must do. Also, sailing on the sparkling Mediterranean waters is a divine experience.”
