Nilesh and Oshin – New Zealand and French Polynesia

Nilesh and Oshin planned a memorable honeymoon in New Zealand and French Polynesia with 'A Travel Duet'

We were in London and our parents set us up! We went to Yautcha and that’s when it all started,” says Oshin. The couple chose New Zealand and French Polynesia and spent their two-week honeymoon in that exotic lovers’ paradise.

We started our trip in the adventure capital of New Zealand, Queenstown. We stayed at the Novotel Queenstown Lakeside and it was easy to spend time there… wandering around, taking in the sights and we absolutely loved the activities there. We did it all – from luging to star gazing to skydiving to canyonswinging to hot pools and the oh-so-awesome Heli Photo Safari!

The Photo Safari was undoubtedly the most romantic moment of our honeymoon! We participated in a contest launched by A Travel Duet and guess what? We won! We thought it would be a very casual event including a few pictures here and there, but it turned out to be an extraordinary, mind-blowing affair! This experience, entirely curated by A Travel Duet was nothing short of incredible

The next day we hired a car and zoomed towards Wanaka, where we stayed at the River View Terrace. The ‘Freedom and Romance of Flight’ was the highlight in Wanaka. Flying over Lake Wanaka was truly remarkable! We then moved on to Te Waonui where we went for an adventure tour to the Franz Josef Glacier. Afterwards, we drove towards Christchurch and stayed at the Hotel Heritage for a night.

Hapuku Lodge in Kaikoura was beautiful. It balances eco-friendliness with luxury and excellent service. Our 3-course dinner was beautifully cooked and served. The elevated rooms gave us magnificent views of the surrounding areas. A highlight was watching whales and dolphins.

We flew to Auckland, stayed two nights at the Novotel there before driving to watch the Lady Knox Geyser erupt and took a Hobbiton tour thereafter.

From there we travelled to magical Bora Bora. We first spent a night in Le Meridien, Tahiti and then we had a bungalow at the Four Seasons in Bora Bora. It was spacious and luxurious, the resort grounds were impeccable, the pool was stunning. Absolutely loved, loved, loved this place! Aquabiking underwater on a scooter was quite possibly the most fun-filled activity we did in Bora Bora. The rest of our trip was spent relaxing in the resort before we headed towards home. Cheers to A Travel Duet, to make our honeymoon enchanting!”

Oshin and Nilesh conclude, showering the honeymoon handcrafters with praises!
