How We Met
“I first saw Pragyan at a club, and while she was dancing her night away, I was losing my heart to her, one song at a time! Little did I know, our families had known each other for decades. Just one glance at her and I knew that she was the one! After that, everything fell in place just like it was meant to be.”

Honeymoon Planning
“As for picking a honeymoon destination, we wanted to visit a place which was new for both of us. We mutually believed that a summer wedding would call for a Greek honeymoon while a winter wedding would call for one in New Zealand, and that’s how we began packing our bags for Greece!”

Honeymoon Highlights
“Our 10-day Greece honeymoon itinerary included Mykonos, Santorini, and Athens. From the crescent-shaped island of Santorini to the unmatched beauty and history of Athens, Greece presented some unique and picturesque landscapes! While the entire holiday was an outstanding visual spectacle, we relished a gastronomic tour too in Mykonos. The Chicken Souvlaki at Pepper Souvlaki & More is something that we’d strongly recommend to all. Plus, the cocktails at Katerina’s Cocktail Bar had us in high spirits throughout!”

Most Romantic Moment
“Though the entire holiday was a romantic escape. However, if I’d have to mention a few of our most romantic moments, it would be the ones when I felt time stop. The first one was watching the sunset from our honeymoon suite in Caldera Villas as we lay in a private hot tub overlooking the Caldera Volcano, and the second moment was when we took a five-hour sailing trip in the Aegean Sea.”

Advice to Couples
“If you are heading to Greece, remember to take an amazing camera and an empty memory card because you are going to end up clicking tons of pictures! We recommend visiting Paradise Beach, Ornos Beach, the Tropicana Beach Club, and Cavo Paradiso. If you’re visiting the quaint city of Mykonos, check out the Rarity Art Gallery, Little Venice, and The Windmills. At Santorini, stay at Oia, party at Fira and don’t forget to sail in the calm waters of the Aegean Sea! If you feel the need to hire a car, Drossos in Oia is of huge help. Lastly, the open-air movie theatre experience is something that you wouldn’t want to miss!”

Can-Avoid
“Couples can avoid pre-booking ferry rides and island transfers in case of any last-minute changes in travel plans.”

Must-Avoid
“Avoid using public cabs on the islands as it is cheaper to rent a vehicle. Don’t hire all-terrain vehicles below 300CC as your money will go to waste. Don’t plan a long stay in Athens; just two days are enough there.”

Where They Stayed
Mykonos – San Antonio Summerland
Santorini – Caldera Premium Villas (Oia)
