Raashi and Keshav tied the knot in Kolkata and while planning their honeymoon they knew they wanted to travel far to celebrate their new beginnings. Says Raashi: "We wanted a combination of a laid back and adventurous honeymoon, and we shortlisted South Africa, Seychelles and New Zealand. While researching online, we learnt Fiji is very close to New Zealand. The pictures of the island looked amazing and with its luxurious and laid-back feel and we thought it would be great to visit it before or after our New Zealand adventure. So we got in touch with Honeymoon Crafters 'A Travel Duet' who planned it all."

Hotels

In New Zealand, we were excited to experience the hospitality of the lodges. We stayed at Lake Tekapo Lodge, Queenstown Country Lodge and Riverview Terrace Wanaka. Every moment of our stay in the three lodges was amazing.

In Queensland and Auckland we stayed at Novotel and Sky City Grand Auckland.

In Fiji, we stayed at the Sunset Pool Villa in the Tokoriki Island Resort which was the highlight of the trip.

Places visited

In New Zealand, we visited Tekapo, Queenstown and Wanaka. That was followed by a scenic drive along the west coast till Nelson via Franz and Punakaiki.

Another highlight of our vacation was the overnight trip to the Doubtful Sound, which is a very large and naturally imposing fiord in Fiordland, in South West New Zealand.

Best Meal

The Ocean Front Dining at Tokoriki with a customized Indian Menu was just amazing. The service was literally 5 on 5. Being vegetarians, we were a bit sceptical about the food that would be offered in Fiji. But on our arrival at Tokoriki the chef was extremely kind to prepare vegetarian meals throughout our stay!

Most romantic moment

A Travel Duet- Handcrafted Honeymoons

In our first meeting with Pritish, Founder of A Travel Duet (ATD) we were sure we were talking to an extremely sincere person who is one of the best in the business. His suggestions/ recommendations were based on inputs from his previous clients so they come with a great deal of credibility. We had several conversations with Pritish and he always managed to come up with different options till we were completely satisfied with the choices. We will definitely recommend ATD to anyone who is planning their honeymoon. Kudos to Pritish, Akanksha, Josephine and the ATD team for their expertise, service and dedication!
