Honeymoon Planning
“We decided to visit Bali for our honeymoon as both of us love beaches, and this picture-perfect destination is truly a paradise for beach lovers. We flew to Bali on Valentine’s Day this year for a heavenly 10-day honeymoon which included memorable trips around the island to explore Bali’s culture, cities, beaches and attractions.”

Honeymoon Highlights
“Since we were there for 10 days, we decided to split our time by staying at different resorts/hotels in different cities. We were in Kuta for three days and chose to stay at the beautiful Rama Beach Resort & Villas. In Ubud, we decided to book a private villa with a pool in Alam Puisi for three days. We ended our trip in Nusa Dua at Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso where we stayed for over four days. We visited the famous Bali museum, Tanah Lot temple, Mt. Agung, Ayung River, Turtle Islands and many more interesting places. We cherish every bit of our Bali experience, from shopping and late night scooter rides in Kuta to peaceful Balinese massages and cycling expeditions through rice fields in Ubud, and relaxing on the private beach at Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso.”

Best Meal
“We loved Balinese cuisine, but the best meal we had during the trip was at Bridges, in Ubud, where we savored some delicious chicken satay. Also, the food at Queen’s of India, in Nusa Dua was amazing. We had butter chicken with naan which was as good as home food.”

Most Romantic Moment
“We shared our most romantic moment at Alam Puisi, in Ubud where my husband booked a surprise romantic dinner for us. The entire villa was beautifully lit with candles, and we had one of the best meals by our private pool, overlooking the beautiful rice fields.”

Advice for couples
“Our advice would be to split your time between different cities in Bali. Also, if you can rent a scooter (called ‘scooty’ here), that would be great as you can make as many stops you like and explore many places.”

Must Experience
“You must experience the beautiful Tanah Lot temple and snorkeling in Lembongan islands.”

Can Avoid
“Avoid the Turtle Islands if you are not a fan of caged animals. Also, if someone is visiting during the monsoon season, definitely avoid Mount Batur as you won’t be able to see the volcano or mountains.”
