Honeymoon Planning
“The wedding was John’s first trip to India and we thought what better way to round it off than with an Indian honeymoon as well. This way, he would experience the country as much as he could. We felt visiting the Golden Triangle would give us the best shot for myriad historical and cultural experiences in a short period of time. We hired One Ninety Five Holidays and explained our expectations to them. They curated a trip of eight days in November 2019 for us that we enjoyed immensely”.

“Our journey covered the three cities of the Golden Triangle, namely New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur in eight days. We planned an itinerary to make the most of the trip. We wanted to visit as many iconic places as we could and still have time to enjoy every moment of the beauty of the cities and our time there together without feeling rushed. In Delhi, we visited the Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple and Amrapali Museum. Agra would never be complete without the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort, of course. At Jaipur we covered Amer Fort, Jantar Mantar, City Palace and Hawa Mahal.”

Best Meal Of The Trip
“Visiting Agra, the erstwhile capital of the Mughal Empire, we had to get our hands on some authentic Mughlai food. Our most memorable meal there was at Esphahan, The Oberoi. Another unforgettable meal was relishing Parsi cuisine at Soda Bottle Openerwala at Khan Market, New Delhi”.

Most Romantic Moment
“We were thoroughly pampered at the hotels we stayed at. Champagne, cake, rose petals in the bath…the works! It was all very romantic.”

Experience With One Ninety Five Holidays
The couple shared some thoughts on their experience planning their honeymoon with One Ninety Five Holidays. They said, “Pritika and Mudit were so easy to work with. Their planning and organizing was seamless. They were prompt in providing us with options, quotes and itineraries. We only communicated via email and Instagram as we live in Toronto. We had zero problems following up, making payments and planning our trip. We loved that they are extremely detail-oriented and professional. Everything was planned to the T. Cars, drivers, hotels, sights, tour guides, dietary preferences, restaurant and shopping suggestions. One Ninety-Five Holidays did not leave any stone unturned. We referred them to all our friends and family and will definitely pick them for any future vacations we plan.”

Advice For Couples
1. “Take your time at each spot. It’s alright if you miss a few places. Don’t just try to hit every place for Instagram. Indian history is steeped in art and culture and deserves to be enjoyed.”

2. “Use a tour guide. Google doesn’t tell you everything.”

Must-do Experiences
“The block printing and blue pottery workshops in Jaipur were splendid. They are definitely worth a visit.”

Can Avoid
“We probably could have avoided the Lotus Temple and visited Humayun’s Tomb instead. It was still beautiful though.”

Must Avoid
“We would suggest not making any purchases from the Agra Marble Emporium. We didn’t have a pleasant experience as we ended up with several faulty souvenirs.”
