“Although I am from Stuttgart, Germany and Sheraz from Zurich, Switzerland- fate brought us together when we met at work.”

“Bali’s reputation as an incredible destination was already something we were familiar with courtesy friends and family. We were looking for this sort of tropical paradise – we had to choose between Bali and the Maldives – and when we saw pictures of the landscape and the waterfalls, the choice was made for us.”
Honeymoon Highlights
“We stayed at Le Meridien Bali Jimbaran and it was so beautiful. The rooms are huge and the service was excellent. Highlights of our stay included a visit to Kuta beach and a recce around the clubs, malls and the bazaar. We went to Ubud to explore the monkey forest and were left awestruck by the Tegenungan waterfall.

Visiting the Nusa Dua Beach was definitely one of the most stand-out moments on the trip and we also loved Seminyak. It’s definitely the most stylish and upscale beach resort area and we did a lot of shopping too!”
Best Meal of the Trip
“The best meal we had was in Seminyak at the Mykonos restaurant which is a great place for European food lovers. For the authentic Bali food, we would suggest the beach restaurants in Jimbaran. They serve fresh sea food and it is a place where you can sit with your feet in the sand and have a perfect view of the beach.”
Most Romantic Moment
“Our most romantic moment was when we celebrated Sheraz’s birthday at midnight in our hotel room.”
Advice to couples
“We highly recommend beautiful Bali to everyone but it’s really popular and they should be prepared to see a lot of other tourists too.”
