How They Met
Meharsi shares, “Logan and I met in medical school where we first crossed paths during the second year. We became close friends and helped each other a lot through the intense stress of school and being far away from our families.”

The Proposal
Recollecting the surprise proposal that Logan had orchestrated for her, Meharsi shares, “In May 2019, Logan woke me up early in the morning stating that we had to get ready for a photoshoot as his parents were visiting for his sister’s graduation and they wanted pictures against the sunrise. The next thing I knew, we had pulled up to a parking lot with a hot air balloon and airplane in the distance. The morning was chilly with crisp air and a beautiful thick fog, and it truly looked like a fairytale. I realized what was happening and I froze. Logan got down on one knee and proposed to me! We took a ride in the hot air balloon and I was literally on cloud nine! That evening, we were picked up in a car and I unknowingly walked into a lively venue filled to the brim with my family and all of my closest friends! It was a complete surprise, and overwhelmed with emotion, I burst out crying! Logan had really pulled off a proposal of a lifetime.”

Wedding Planning
Planning a four-day celebration is no cakewalk and to make sure that their nuptials were in tandem with their vision, Meharsi and Logan roped in B3 Event Management who knocked it out of the park with their promptness, diligence and utmost creativity. The happy bride shares, “B3 Event Management was absolutely amazing. The pandemic made the planning a tad bit challenging and so we stuck to extensive virtual communication through phone calls, text messages and in-person meetings while adhering to strict protocols. Their planning team was at our beck and call throughout! They prioritized the vision of my dream wedding from day one itself and their team worked tirelessly for all our events. From organizing timelines to picking out flower installations and also ensuring that our tablescapes were perfect, they were all hands on deck! They helped me bring my Earth, Water and Fire-themed wedding to life. Their emotional support alone while planning this wedding during the pandemic is something I will never forget. We became so close during the two years, and truly at this point, they are family.”

As for the wedding venues, the couple was keen on hosting the events at local spots where the bride could easily keep a track of the planning and logistics. Meharsi shares, “Overlooking the planning process was going to be a stressful one, and predicting the same, I wanted to opt for venues that were close at hand. Thankfully, we had a wonderful team to help us out and bring the whole wedding together. I wanted a theme to tie the weekend together. I loved the idea of nature and elements. I decided on Earth for the Sangeet, Water for our Wedding ceremony and Fire for our Reception.”

Wedding Functions
Sangeet
Meharsi shares, “Taking a cue from the Earth theme that we had decided on for the Sangeet, we chose a lush magical forest look. Overarching trees, palm fronds and bamboo table decor transported everyone to a different land altogether as they shook a leg to their favorite tracks and reflected the beauty of the month of May.”

Mehndi and Haldi
The bridal Mehndi was home-based, where the bride got comfy while getting henna patterned on her hands and legs. A home-based Haldi followed right after which one saw the home lavishly decorated with colorful mirror work and an embroidered backdrop. As the bride’s loved ones slathered her with turmeric paste, many emotional moments were exchanged.

Wedding
Meharsi shares, “Our Wedding ceremonies were my absolute favorite, and we had two ceremonies that honored both our cultures. Since we had decided on a water theme for the wedding, there was a towering mandap filled with suspended blooms, a raised chrome aisle and two pools that had rose petals floating on them.”

Reception
Ending the celebration with a healthy dash of glam, the Reception was romantic and glitzy. The bride recollects, “Our reception was a showstopper. Hundreds of candles lit up the room, and also flanked our stage. Besides, the room was also lit up by elegant candelabras which were strategically placed across the venue. Hands down, this was the best event in our celebrations and all the credit goes to B3 Event Management who brought our dream to life!”
