How We Met
“Rahul and I have known each other since the time we were kids. We met when we were in high school, and through the years we built a connection that was unbreakable. Marriage, therefore, became the most apparent next step in our relationship and his elaborate proposal made it impossible to say no!”
Proposal
“With 250 coral colored roses and 12 handwritten letters that told a story of our journey, Rahul proposed to me in front of some of the most inspiring people in our lives and I said ‘Yes!’ He created the most dreamy setting at the High Line complete with a violinist who played tunes of our favorite songs, and his gesture stole my heart away!”

“It was our engagement with which the wedding festivities commenced. The decor followed a red and golden color scheme, and we made use of shimmering drapes to add a touch of glam to the setting. Flowers in white were brought in to add a sense of freshness.”

“For our wedding were able to play with the colors and themes to delicately balance traditional and contemporary styles. The idea was to subtly break the mould and biases and to make a statement about what traditions mean to us. White and gold were the colors that we opted for, and we had the most beautiful mandap with a trail of white flowers wrapped around its pillars.”
Reception
“At the reception, we had a raised platform with a backdrop smothered in lush greens, in front of which was a frame with white blooms to add an element of interest. Candles, floral arrangements, and an elegant chaise lounge were a part of this striking setup as well. The night was filled with cheer and saw a lot of dancing which was the perfect way to wrap up our celebrations.”
