Saanya Sharma
From wildlife-inspired gowns to uber-glamorous lehengas, this bride’s wedding wardrobe made jaws drop!
Co-founder of Three Entertainment Saanya Sharma’s wedding wardrobe was an extension of herself. An amalgamation of all things she loves, like, nature, home and whimsical elements – her outfits were flamboyant and inspiring.
Wedding Planning
With the bride’s company Three Entertainment designing the wedding, the planning was spearheaded by Saanya’s besties and co-founders of Three Entertainment, Sanjana Shah and Aashna Lalwani were her pillars of strength as she navigated through the whirlwind of wedding planning. As for her wardrobe, Saanya let her creativity take the front seat as she made a series of eclectic choices from ace Indian designers.
Wedding Functions
Roka
Staying in sync with the event’s ‘Disco Jungle’ theme, bride Saanya donned a halter neck dress with a thigh-high slit and a trailing train embellished with blooms. Showcasing her love for wildlife, the gown featured two sequined leopards poised elegantly around the bust. Accessories were kept minimal while the hair was styled in a chic, wavy pony.

Mehndi
Comfort was the topmost priority with style coming at a close second as Saanya wore this exquisite leaf green lehenga for her floral mehndi. Amidst the sea of vivid blooms, she stood out in each picture with her multilayered lehenga stealing the spotlight along with her unconventional jacket-style choli. Adding a dash of glam to the look was the statement necklace set and the heavy kundan kadas.

Haldi and Chooda
Glamour was at an all-time high with Saanya sporting her mom, Ritu Sharma’s creation at her Haldi and Chooda ceremony. The breathtaking sheer lehenga was embellished with thousands of yellow blooms while the choli flaunted a multitude of gold sequins set in a criss-cross pattern. The bride finished off the look with a statement pearl maang tikka and let her outfit and kaleerein do the rest of the work!

Wedding
For her big day, Saanya was the quintessential Indian bride wearing a red lehenga embellished with gold threadwork and pearls. The choli with its plunging sweetheart neckline gave her plenty of space to layer kundan and emerald-encrusted necklaces while matching jhumkas dangled from her ears. The winged eyeliner and a nude lip perfectly complemented the look.

Sangeet
Bringing the festivities to an end on a glitzy note, the sangeet had Saanya donning a stunning gold lehenga embellished with sequins and intricate threadwork. The mermaid cut lehenga along with the cape-style tulle chunni added a touch of contemporary flair to her ensemble. A heavy necklace featuring emerald and pearls with matching earrings ensured Saanya stayed firmly under the spotlight.
