A stylist by profession, Shireen knew what she wanted - ensembles that were chic, fun and fashionable

Shereen and Siddarth had the same circle of friends in college and that’s how they got in touch with each other. They tied the knot on 14 February, 2013 and celebrated the day of love in their personal style.

Shereen is a Stylist by profession so she was very clear about the look she wanted. Boho-chic and rock-n-roll being her style statement, she blended the right fashion elements to create the perfect outfits for her wedding celebrations.

Red Anarkali for Mata Ki Chowki
Shereen wore an Anamika Khanna Anarkali for Mata ki chowki that made her look absolutely stunning. She says, “I love Anamika Khanna’s creations. I wanted to wear red for this pooja. This raw silk anarkali was perfect in color, comfort, embroidery, and styling. It was not too heavy nor completely simple.”She tied her hairs in a messy side braid and kept the make-up simple. Arti Nayar, an assistant to Makeup maestro Namrata Soni, did her make-up for this function.

Unconventional Lehenga for Mehndi
Shereen went for an unconventional mint ice green Lucknowi lehenga by Shehlaa Khan for her mehndi. She says, “I had this very Marie Antoinette, the dreamy Austrian Princess look in my mind. When I saw this outfit, I could relate with my inspiration and it floored me. The color was exactly what I wanted, pastel shade, and the work was intricate accentuating the soft look. I wore diamonds from Notandas Jewellers and kept my hairs in natural waves with small flowers in Greek style.”

Ivory and Baby Pink Lehenga for Sangeet
Shereen again stuck to beautiful pastel shades for her sangeet and wore an Anamika Khanna ivory and baby pink lehenga. She says, “This outfit had my favorite colors. I am a very dreamy person and this dress just had that beautiful fairy-like feel to it. A dull gold sequined blouse with an ivory lehenga with gold leaf work. The dupatta was net in baby pink color with butis on it. ” Namrata Soni did her make-up for the occasion. “She kept the look glamorous with smoky eyes and pink lips and I wore diamonds and emeralds from Anmol Jewelers.”

Timeless Lehenga for Wedding
Shereen wanted a very timeless look for the wedding function and she was sure no one better to give her this look than Sabyasachi. She went for a beautiful red lehenga with ivory dupatta looking classic in her wedding outfit. She says, “This velvet lehenga was just the right kind of red I looked for. It had the typical Sabyasachi work that made the outfit look so rich and royal. With delicate borders and there were two dupattas- a red dupatta draped on the body and an ivory dupatta with red border and butis on the head. I wore a choker from Hazoorilal, Delhi and a Rani haar from Notandas. ” For the wedding, she wanted to look very traditional and yet elegant and Namrata Soni gave her that look.
