When it came to her love for fashion, Srishti discovered her partner in crime in Anmol, and their colorful wedding festivities were a celebration of their vibrant personalities and fashion moments. How they met
Srishti and Anmol discovered a common passion and a shared devotion to fashion in an arranged marriage. From being skeptical of being set up to not being able to spend a moment apart, their journey of discovering their true love was a beautiful one.
Wedding Venue
The royal landscape of Jaipur was the perfect backdrop for Srishti and Anmol’s union. The wedding festivities unraveled with pomp and splendor at the Fairmont Hotel in Jaipur, while the reception was hosted at the Shangri-La Jaipur.
Wedding Planning
“Both me and Anmol live for fashion, and our looks were planned to reflect who we are as people. Also, it would be unfair not to give a special mention to Makeup artist Samaira Sandhu who was involved in ensuring my looks were perfect from the day we spoke, she worked along with little pieces of my jewelry to best customize and highlight my features.
All the magic we wanted to create and witness wouldn’t have been possible if it hadn’t been as magically captured by Gautam Khullar and his team” says the bride.
Mehndi
“My mehndi translated my take on a big fat Indian wedding, while my outfit for the mehndi was an amalgamation of the seeds of fashion forwardness, a tinge of my roots and the flavors of vogue” says the bride. Walking in wearing a unique red ghunghroo-encrusted pair of sneakers, the happy bride twirled in her fuchsia Siddharth Bansal skirt with colorful paisley patterns. Her vibrant floral jewelry blended with the elegance of pearl accents, while a separate choker emblazoned with her groom’s name was clasped on her neck. A softly tousled side plait and fresh, youthful makeup of dewy cheeks, bright eyes and a popping orange lippy were the perfect accompaniment to her quirky look. A ruffled mint dupatta added a surprise contrast to the outfit.
Engagement
While a bride dreams in pink, Srishti’s heart was soaked in sunshine yellow. Reflecting perfectly in her intricately embellished mirrorwork lehenga by Abhinav Mishra. An abundance of bright bangles adorned her wrists, while her statement Polki jewelry added a sheen of royalty to her ensemble. Her sultry visage of bronze smokey eyes, bold lashes, contoured cheeks and nude lips finished off her look perfectly, along with soft flowing curls.
Wedding
“The grandeur of the wedding celebration was no less than a Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie set. The blend of blue and gold in the bride’s multilayered statement jewelry matched the eyes of the embroidered peacocks on her red and gold Sulakshana Monga lehenga, which accompanied other Indian motifs such as horses and palanquins. The lehenga marked the journey from mehndi to vidaai with a customization of their #SRISHTIANMOLHAI embroidered on it. Her side swept chignon bun hairstyle elegantly complemented the richness of her attire and earthy makeup of gold smokey eyes and peach-nude lips.
Reception
For the final reception function, the bride kept it delicate and demure in a lavender gown by Asiana Couture with gold embellishment and a golden fringed sleeve. Dainty diamond jewelry added just the right amount of glamour to her look, while her dewy visage with bold eyes and soft pink lips brought out her youthful, quirky nature. A soft romantic hairdo of loose curls tucked with fresh flowers pulled her look together.
